I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Father God, we thank You for every person You have anointed and called into military service in our United States of America. Each one has had a particular gift, calling and strength for his part. As King David recognized, each was important. We make the same recognition. We honor You for our Republic’s victories.
Today we gather to pray for Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. Once again, Sir, we are grateful that You filled that position with one of Your own children. You are so good to us. We are thankful for his testimony of Your forgiveness and redemption. We can all identify with his journey.
We agree with the prayers of Intercessors for America on his behalf: “Lord Jesus, thank You for raising up a courageous and faithful leader as Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. Give him the wisdom and courage of biblical warriors such as Joshua, Caleb and David, to do Your will and follow Your guidance when it comes to resolving conflicts and hotspots in the world. May he lead America’s troops with honor.” We pray for his protection and the protection of his family and staff. Keep them in the shadow of Your wings and sanctify them spirit, soul and body to the coming of our Lord Jesus. May each of his children be brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and, by Your Holy Spirit, fulfill his destiny in Your Kingdom. Teach him how to put on Your armor and let Your glory be his rear guard. Give him time to study and show himself approved unto You and receive direction from Your throne for each decision he must make. Give him a mouth and utterance as he explains the orders he has received from You.
We release angels to accompany, defend and preserve him in all his ways of obedience and service.
Father God, make America Greater than it has ever been by sweeping multitudes into Your Kingdom by Your Spirit. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

AMEN! Praying in agreement!
Lord, thank You for the men and women in our armed forces. I pray Your protection over each one as they carry out their various duties in defence of our country. Wherever they are in the world, I pray that You would lead and protect them from all the forces of evil.
I pray Your protection over each individual and every regiment and crew. May they be equipped to carry out their duties in a manner that is pleasing to You.
I pray that those that are in authority over military matters, would make their decisions based on Your truths and be kept from implementing worldly philosophies and unbiblical attitudes on our troops.
Be with every believer in the military who has accepted the Lord Jesus as their Saviour. I pray that the actions that they are required to make, will not compromise their trust in You.
I also pray that those who have made a commitment to live their lives as unto You, will be able to witness to all those who are living and working alongside them. Keep each one safe, and may each one grow in grace and in a knowledge of the Lord Jesus in the days that lie ahead. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Lord, we lift Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth in prayer. Give him wisdom and discernment from above.
We thank You for leading President Trump and Pete Hegseth to remove and discourage gender “fluid” persons from service.
We thank You that mental illness and the demonic is no longer celebrated.
We pray that our military and all of our culture will return to You.

Lord, we pray for the physical and especially the spiritual health of our soldiers. We pray that they are drawn close to You.
Father God, we also lift up those who have served in the past. May we rebuild this nation worthy of their time. May we once again be strong in You.
