🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(11/9/25)[Prayer]

Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
Hebrews 6:7-8
7 Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8 But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Abba Father,
We Come before You in Prayer
We Know That You Are Omnipotent,
And Could Choose to Speak to us as an Earthquake
We Know That You Are Omnipresent,
And Could Speak to Us as a Mighty Wind.
We Know That You Are Omniscient,
And Could Speak to Us As a Raging Fire.
But Many Times,
You Speak to Us As A Small Still Voice,
A Gentle Whisper,We Must Actually LISTEN.
Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.
Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.
This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.
”The Greatest Of these Is Love.”
If you would like to be on or off the Daily Ping List, please let me know.

Tomorrow, we will post the last Meditation in this Series, and then, on Tuesday, we will do a Study that will take us up to Christmas. Then, who knows what's in store for the New Year?
In 2026, we will be observing the 250th Birthday of The United States of America. I can't believe the Bicentennial was FIFTY Years ago. In 1976, I looked a lot better than I do now😁, But I didn't know Jesus back then. Here's something I wrote about that VERY interesting year. It relates to Today's Scripture about Spiritual Maturity.
Before the Days of FAX Machines, Email, or The Internet, it was very difficult to get important papers delivered instantly across a city like Boston or New York. Telephone and Telegraph only went so far...Blueprints, Legal Briefs, and Important Documents had to be delivered in person. Hiring a Taxi Cab was iffy...as a traffic snarl could drastically delay sensitive documents. In the early 70s the "Bicycle Messenger" made their debut in the great financial centers of America...and, yes. I was one of them.
The coveted runs were from one office building to another in the financial district, as the buildings were close together, the documents were regular-sized, and numerous deliveries could be crammed into an eight hour day. At the rate of $2.50 per package, it would add up. An occasional run to the Registry of Motor Vehicles earned an extra Dollar (for aggravation) and trips to the South End netted another Dollar for Danger. (At first, seeing the white outlines of people on the ground made me wonder if this was some new form of "Performance Art"...then I REALIZED what the "White Outlines WERE!)
By far, the most difficult "Run" was from the Architectural Firms in Cambridge. It was hardly worth the extra buck to shoulder the awkward tubes of blueprints and ride across the Charles River on the wind-swept Longfellow Bridge. Nevertheless, I never lost a package, and always delivered on time. By the time I got a new job in 1976, just in time for the Bicentennial, I had the BEST figure in the Northeast from all that bicycle riding!
Covenants are very important things. America started with a Covenant (The Mayflower Compact) and continued with various Covenants until our ultimate National Covenant, the Constitution. Ideally, this Covenant supersedes all other laws and ordinances that the government may care to impose. I am even of the opinion that all children in the schools should be taught "cursive" handwriting, because the Original Founding Documents of Our Nation were hand-written. Like the hand-delivered legal briefs, or the blueprints in the tube on my back, these Documents must always be available in the unaltered ORIGINAL, so that The Electronic Media (which can be changed with the click of a mouse) does not become the norm. The same can be said of the Word of God. In His Wisdom, The Lord has given us very Ancient Manuscripts that are used for translating the Scriptures for us. The Discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1948 showed a remarkable consistency with the texts we read today. The Book of Isaiah, virtually intact, is nearly identical!
Like the Lowly Bicycle Messenger plying the streets of Boston, The Messenger of the Covenant brings us the WORD in Person, in the Person of the Messiah.
The Book of Hebrews is tough reading, as it talks a lot about Spiritual Maturity, Covenants, and The High Priesthood of the Messiah. Even though I've read it many times, it's still a little like pedaling across the windswept Longfellow Bridge with and ungainly Blueprint tube on my back. Perhaps I still have a long way to go to reach "Spiritual Maturity".
Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
”Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 NIV)

Thank you so much for reminding us, ML.

Love the bicycle messenger story...and, how that relates to today’s Scripture.
Hubs and I were just talking about telegraph machines, recently.
Well, we couldn’t think of the name...ha! So, I’ll let him know :-)

I worked for New England Telephone and Telegraph Company for seven years (sometimes known as the Great Tribulation), and, although I saw a lot of different kinds of telephones, I never saw a “Telegraph”.

Before we do “America 250” (Great Idea! By The Way!), we will do the Countdown to Christmas 2025, which starts on Tuesday.
It will be something we have done before, but with new links and commentary...and we’ll be using the KJV.
Can you guess what it is?

Amen !!! <>< (NOTE:We must pray this daily from here on out)
Psalm 91
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
