🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(10/26/25)[Prayer]

Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
Job 36:27-33

27  “He draws up the drops of water,
    which distill as rain to the streams[a];

28  the clouds pour down their moisture
    and abundant showers fall on mankind.

29  Who can understand how he spreads out the clouds,
    how he thunders from his pavilion?

30  See how he scatters his lightning about him,
    bathing the depths of the sea.

31  This is the way he governs[b] the nations
    and provides food in abundance.

32  He fills his hands with lightning
    and commands it to strike its mark.

33  His thunder announces the coming storm;
    even the cattle make known its approach.[c]

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Our Lord and Heavenly Father
O LORD Save Us!
Hosanna in the Highest!
You are Our Salvation,
You Are Our Defense
You Are our Refuge and our Strength.
Hear Us When we Call, oh LORD.
Hosanna, Oh LORD,
Save Us and Our Beloved from the Lion's Mouth.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.

”The Greatest Of these Is Love.”

If you would like to be on or off the Daily Ping List, please let me know.

The other evening, I joined my sister and her friend at a local restaurant where the friend's husband was doing a solo act, just him and his guitar. When my sister does a solo act, I do her sound, and I've never gotten any complaints. It may be because I'm hearing impaired (A DEAF Sound Engineer! What a Novel Thought!). Seriously, I think it might be my hearing deficit that makes me particularly meticulous in setting the values on the mixer. I did my own sound for 35 years, and, if one does something over and over for that long, one gets good at it.

Anyway, the Musician set himself up, and his wife, who always does his Sound, adjusted the levels perfectly for the room. She did what I always do for a Sound Check, walking around the restaurant, listening carefully, and making adjustments on her tablet for each little corner of the room.

When the performance started, I remarked to her that the Sound was PERFECT. We could still converse at the table in normal tones, and even I, with my Hearing Loss, could maintain a discussion while enjoying the music at the same time. She's been doing this for a long time, and got it right.

After the first song, the Manager of the Restaurant came over and said:

"It's TOO LOUD!"

The wife repeated the process of walking around and adjusting the levels again.

After the second song, it happened again. Then the third song. Pretty soon I could barely hear the Musician at all.

There was a noisy table of "Soccer Moms" at the back of the Restaurant, and we ascertained that they were the ones doing the complaining. I expressed to my friend that the only way these women of that generation ever heard music was from their Smart Phones. The sound on a Cell Phone is extremely "compressed". That means it has all the dynamics stuffed into a narrow bandwidth. Live Music is different. The Full Dynamic Range of the Music is spread out across the Musical Spectrum. What was "Too Loud" for that Generational Group was merely what REAL MUSIC sounds like.

Some Time Ago, we did a Daily Meditation on the Names of God in Scripture. Like this series on Water, Rivers, and Streams, it went on and on. There were so many Names! Here is a little something I wrote when we looked at The Name Of God that means "TRUTH".

A big fancy word one learns in the earliest opening classes in Theology, Psychology, Sociology, and Philosophy is epistemology. All the definitions online tend to cloud the meaning of this word rather than define it, so I am going to take my own stab at it:

Epistemology is the trail of ideas and experiences from which a person derives their "truth".

Since this is a rather shabby definition, I will give you an example:

Three people hear thunder.

The first, who derives his conclusions from pagan thought, assumes that the "gods" are having a battle.

The second, who derives his thoughts from pure science, muses on the effects of positive ions in the atmosphere, discharging to make lighting and thunder.

The third, who has a very practical epistemology, has been caught in the rain, knows that it's time to seek shelter.

When it comes to TRUTH, College professors may tell you that there isn't any such thing, and that one person's TRUTH will vary from another's, based upon their epistemology!

However, of the three people hearing the thunder, the Pagan, The Scientist, and the Practical Guy, ALL will get wet if they stay out in the rain.

Here's where the Philosophers fall short. Truth is like Gravity. Whether your epistemology includes it or not, you still want to wear that parachute if you decide to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

It is a legend that The Buddha, as he was dying, said to his disciples, "I am still searching for Truth."

Pontius Pilate, when faced with the prospect of executing an Innocent Man, said; "What IS Truth?"

Jesus Christ said "I AM the Truth".

When we look at the Book of Job, we see Five Human Characters, all of whom have a different Epistemology. Job, his Three (alleged) Friends, and a Youth who has respectfully stood back until all the others were finished talking before putting in his two cents.

All of Job's "friends" had some of the Truth about God, but they only had the vast Truth compressed into a very Narrow Bandwidth...their own Epistemology. Because of this, we hear lovely pronouncements that carry some Truth, but not the Whole Truth.

When God Himself has had enough of their pontificating, He shows up...and it's DEFINITELY TOO LOUD for them to even comprehend.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

”Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 NIV)

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Amen !!! <>< (NOTE:We must pray this daily from here on out)

Psalm 91

1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.

14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
