"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."

We confess and repent of our national sins of pride, self-worship, deceit, rebellion, depravity, witchcraft, blasphemy, scoffing and mockery of You, the one True Holy God. We tear down all the idolatries we foolishly attempt to place above You. Oh Elohim Adonai rebuke the evil spirits that oppress the people in bondage, who attempt to fill our minds with delusion and hearts with murder and hatred. Bind these wicked spirits from Your royal position of Victory! We confess our sins and cry out to our Savior and King, Lord Jesus Christ--oh save us Lord Jesus as only You can do! Fill us with Your Holy Spirit to comfort, strengthen, grow and wisely guide us. Amen.
Holy Father God, we confess we’ve taken for granted the numerous blessings You’ve showered upon America. Instead of focusing on You and Your plan for us, we recognize in our material wealth we’ve fallen trap to the herd mentality—distracted, lazy and neglectful of the duties expected of us.
We confess we’ve become soft, preferring the easy life, ignoring and unaware of the ground Satan has taken away throughout the world. It was too hard and too much effort to stand ground upon Your righteousness. We bought the lie that Your Truth doesn’t exist, only “my truth.” While we slept, evil agendas permeated every area of our society and came for our children.
We confess our love of self, pleasures and entertainment became a trap that conditioned us to weakly sit and passively watch, as if the screen is our reality in this world. Our minds have been corrupted to wait for others, like President Trump, to solve all the problems we created through our neglect over the decades. We can’t even be bothered to vote.
What a horrible example we set for our children, handing them over to electronic babysitters and evil caretakers and indoctrinators so we could persue “self,” rather than raising them up in Your Way they should go. We foolishly hand our responsiblity over our children to schools and doctors so they are brought up in the twisted ways of the world. We took the path of least resistance and never told our children “no” so they grew up unable to cope with the challenges of life, unaware there is a God above them.
Father God, You know we unwisely allowed ourselves to be indoctrinated into “tolerance” and the “diversity” so we would accept the array of the world’s evil. Because it’s “too difficult” we cowardly abdicated our responsibilities to You and allowed this to happen. Yet we wring our hands and complain about how depraved things have become in the world. We make excuses and rationalize our errors, pointing the finger of blame to ethnic groups, sexes, political parties, religions—rather than looking in the mirror. Our salt had lost it’s flavor and we have allowed wretchedness to permeate throughout. When will we humble ourselves and take accountability?
Oh Holy Father, wake us up. Whatever it takes, as time is running out in this world. Christ’s return is imminent. We see this is a war which we know You have already won through the sacrifice of our Savior Jesus Christ. We have made such a huge mess only You can fix this. We proclaim a great awakening to Your Truths and turning our focus back onto You. We are thankful for the armor You have provided us, and for having our back. And grateful that You promised You would deliver the nation and heal the land that turns to You. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Wake us, Abba Father, and guide us to the voting booth each time the polls are open so we may elect candidates who love You into positions of leadership. Oh Holy Father, help us remove the ungodly from elected positions and clear out the corruption in our electory systems and government. Oh Lord Jesus, come soon and claim what is rightfully Yours in this world.
We give You thanks, Father God, for Your Holy Spirit who helps us be salt and light in this dying world. You give us the strength to fulfill our responsibilities to You in this world. Thank You for Your help in praying, studying the Word, caring for our families and fulfilling our civic duties as we stand upon the Rock of our Righteousness Jesus Christ—taking action in our local communities, school board meetings, town hearings, etc.—anywhere the enemy has taken foothold. Only You can break these strongholds. We can and need to trust in You, by our Savior Jesus Christ.

To Be Receptive To All God Would Teach Us
Loving Lord, how we thank You for the Scripture which You caused to be written for our learning. It is food and nourishment for our soul, a light to guide and protect our path and life and health to all Who love Your name.
We pray that in the power of the Holy Spirit, You would open our hearts and our minds to all that is written in Your Word of grace. Guide us into all truth and may our ears be ever open to hear Your still small voice. May our eyes be ever watchful for the lessons that You would have us learn and may our hearts be ever receptive to all that You would teach us.
Thank You Lord, that by Your Word and Spirit You have given us all we need in order to live a life that is godly and well-pleasing to Your sight. Open our eyes day by day to see wondrous things in Your precious Word. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
