Today, we will be obedient to put You in remembrance of Your Word. Our hearts are broken over all the kidnapping around the earth. We rejoiced over the release of the Israeli victims, but we groan over the children who are in slavery in our own Nation. We trust You and Your Word and know that You will act.
Exodus 21:16 “Whoever kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or is found with him in his possession, shall surely be put to death.
Exodus 22:22-24 “You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you afflict them in any way and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry; And My wrath shall burn; I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall be widows and your children fatherless”
Deuteronomy 24:7 “If a man is found kidnapping any of his brethren of the Israelites and treats him as a slave or a servant or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall put evil from among you.”
1 Timothy 1:9-11: “Knowing and understanding this: that the Law is not enacted for the righteous (the upright and just, who are in right standing with God), but for the lawless and unruly, for the ungodly and sinful, for the irreverent and profane, for those who strike and beat and [even] murder fathers and strike and beat and [even] murder mothers, for manslayers, [For] impure and immoral persons, those who abuse themselves with men, kidnapers, liars, perjurers—and whatever else is opposed to wholesome teaching and sound doctrine As laid down by the glorious Gospel of the blessed God”

“A prayer for peace”

May it be Your will, Holy One, our God, our ancestors’ God, that you erase war and bloodshed from the world and in its place draw down a great and glorious peace so that nation shall not lift up sword against nation neither shall they learn war any more.
Rather, may all the inhabitants of the earth recognize and deeply know this great truth: that we have not come into this world for strife and division nor for hatred and rage, nor provocation and bloodshed.
We have come here only to encounter You, eternally blessed One. And so, we ask your compassion upon us; raise up, by us, what is written:
I shall place peace upon the earth and you shall lie down safe and undisturbed and I shall banish evil beasts from the earth and the sword shall not pass through your land, but let justice come in waves like water and righteousness flow like a river, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Holy One as the waters cover the sea. So may it be. And we say: Amen.

Lord, we ask for healing for the Israeli families who survive the trauma of October 7.
Lord, we ask for mercy for the Nigerian Christians who have been kidnapped.
Lord, we ask for recovery of the children who have been trafficked in this nation.
There is so much darkness and pain in this fallen world, but You have provided Light and Redemption in Jesus Christ. May more people seek Him and be healed.

Lord Jesus we pray that Hamas would not succeed and use this pause in war to triple down its terror.
Amen. My heart prayer as well. Also, Father, we ask for those evil people that were released. We pray their evil intentions and abilities would be neutralized.
