🇺🇸Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem 🇮🇱(10/9/25)[Prayer]

Water, Rivers, and Streams in the Bible
Job 8:11-13

11  Can papyrus grow tall where there is no marsh?
    Can reeds thrive without water?

12  While still growing and uncut,
    they wither more quickly than grass.

13  Such is the destiny of all who forget God;
    so perishes the hope of the godless.

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Abba Father,
We Come before You in Prayer
We Know That You Are Omnipotent,
And Could Choose to Speak to us as an Earthquake
We Know That You Are Omnipresent,
And Could Speak to Us as a Mighty Wind.
We Know That You Are Omniscient,
And Could Speak to Us As a Raging Fire.
But Many Times,
You Speak to Us As A Small Still Voice,
A Gentle Whisper,We Must Actually LISTEN.

Let all that has been Concealed
Be Revealed.

Father, We Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Pray That You Will Forgive The Sins
of Our Own Nation,
and Lead us all to Godly Repentance.
Create in Us Clean Hearts, Oh LORD,
and Renew a Right Spirit Within Us.

This we Pray Together,
As We Await Your Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Set Up His Kingdom,
And Make All Things Right.

”The Greatest Of these Is Love.”

If you would like to be on or off the Daily Ping List, please let me know.

The Following Story, from Years Ago, was told on this Thread for a different Scripture, and entirely different context. Yet, it seems to relate to our theme in Job: "Why Do Good People Suffer?". This is one of those "Eternal Questions" that we still ask today. Although we may not always see the Vindication of The Lord, it's a part of this Equation. Here's the Story:

There was no doubt about it. Josh was my "Superstar" Student. It helped that , after six years of strict Classical Piano Lessons, he came to me at the age of twelve to learn how to play Jazz and Blues. His sight-reading skills were impeccable, so I wrote out hundreds of Jazz and Blues passages in notation, which later became a series of books, and a published compilation. But, although he was playing all the right notes, it still sounded like Classical Music. I knew that "The Blues" required some emotional component that could not be written down in notation.

When Josh was about 16, he was hospitalized with a life-threatening tumor. While he was in the hospital getting surgery on his brain, his BEST FRIEND stole his beloved teenage girlfriend whom he adored so much that he wrote a song about her! His heart was broken, as only a teenage heart could be. I prayed and prayed for him, and he survived the surgery, with few left-over symptoms. (He had to wait a few more years to get his drivers license due to aftereffects). Anyway, something happened to his music after the traumatic event. His music took on the most soulful and "Bluesy" quality that was astounding. I knew that there was nothing more I could teach him at that point, and before he was even old enough to legally drink alcohol, his Jazz Trio was playing in pubs all around S. Florida. Even though he was a better musician than I could ever be, I helped launch him, so I didn't mind. He always respected me though, and I was his producer and recording engineer for his first couple of CD's.

A teacher has to accept the fact that sometimes a student will be so talented that he will surpass his instructor. This should always be a cause for JOY rather than resentment, because it means that the teacher has done her job well.

There was no way that Josh deserved a brain tumor, nor did he do anything to cause the perfidy of his best friend, or betrayal of his girlfriend.

These things all happened to him, not as Divine Retribution for some secret sin, "bad karma", or some other deficit on his part. Josh went through a tough time, but in the end, was better off than he was before. Just like Job.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

”Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth.” (Hosea 6:3 NIV)

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Amen !!! <>< (NOTE:We must pray this daily from here on out)

Psalm 91

1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,*
2 will say to the Lord, ‘My refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.’
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
or the destruction that wastes at noonday.

7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge,*
the Most High your dwelling-place,
10 no evil shall befall you,
no scourge come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder,
the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.

14 Those who love me, I will deliver;
I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them;
I will be with them in trouble,
I will rescue them and honour them.
16 With long life I will satisfy them,
and show them my salvation.
