For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone:
for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

But rise, and stand upon your feet;
for I have appeared unto you for this purpose,
to make you a minister and a witness both of these things which you have seen
and those things in which I will appear unto you . . .
(Acts 26: 16)

Holy Lord,

We have all opposed You at one time or another, and yet You never gave up on us nor turned Your back on us. By Your grace, we were called to You and to Your purposes, just as You called the Apostle Paul. And Your desire is to make us witnesses of the things we have seen and experienced----the mercy and grace that have led to our own personal conversions. Lord, how grateful we are that You pursued us and gave us opportunity after opportunity to receive the beautiful gift of salvation that You offer.

Lord, we continue to express our gratitude for the faithful witness of Charlie Kirk and we shout for joy at the number of people who have accepted Christ as a result of his witness, as well as that of his wife, Erika. Thank You, Lord, that there are those who are choosing to follow their leading, We pray for a stirring of the young people in our nation igniting in them the desire to be ambassadors of Your truth to all those who are wandering in darkness. Let Your Light shine throughout our colleges, universities and high schools where new chapters of Turning Point USA are taking root, and may seeds of faith be sown wherever the Gospel is shared.

Lord, now we ask that You make us not only Your disciples, but that You help us to let You live through us. Help us to care enough about our fellow man to be concerned about their eternal destiny as well. Help us to be ministers and witnesses of Your love and Your truth.

Father, it does not benefit us to complain about the state of our nation and the persecution of Christians throughout the world. Your desire is that we cast our burdens upon You, and that we live victoriously no matter what the circumstances. We know that at the Cross our Savior paid for everything we would ever need. So as an act of faith, we accept His beautiful gift of the full measure of salvation: forgiveness of sins, healing, provision, protection, and deliverance. All glory be to the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Bless all those in positions of power, Lord, and help them to turn to You for wisdom and understanding of how they should carry out their assignments. May Your angels guard our President, Vice-President, first responders and ice agents. Help our Congress and Senate to legislate according to Your will and please convict the hearts of our judges to judge righteously.

But let none of us underestimate what we as ordinary citizens can do for Your Kingdom. Make us extraordinary Christians who walk in Your power, wisdom, and strength. God of grace, make us instruments of Your peace and Your love. There is much to do before our Saviour’s return. Help us Lord, to share the Gospel actively, confidently, faithfully, and prayerfully. In the Mighty and Awesome Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lord, as we consider this adage from Thy Word, we can easily see how this relates to our current times. We pray for Thine blessing upon our President who is seeking to bring order to those places in our country which are overrun by the many unrighteous.
