Our Father In Heaven,
Hallowed be Your Most Holy and Wonderful Name!
For Your Alone Are Worthy of Our Devotion,
For You Alone Are LORD,
You Alone Are the True God of The Universe!
The Earth is Yours
And The Fullness thereof
You Control the Wind and The Rain
You Create a Lovely Spring Day
Or a Mighty Tempest.
Where can we run?

When I lived in Florida, I was often asked:

"Don't you miss having SEASONS?"

I would blithely reply:

"We have four seasons in Florida:

The Rainy Season
The Hot Season
Tourist Season
and Alligator Mating Season!"

This usually got a laugh, but the truth is that Florida has seasons just like the Northeast. That's why Snowbirds migrate South from New York and New England during the Winter, and positively FLEE to the North by the end of May. While Winters were not nearly as dramatic as the ones up north, my A/C kicked over to HEAT a few times in 16 years.

Today's Scripture is one of Faithfulness and Reassurance. Sometimes the Winter is so tough that we think that Spring will never arrive.

But it always does. Barring some planetary catastrophe such as a meteor strike or an immense volcanic eruption, (or, God Forbid, a Nuclear Winter), we can always count on the Seasons. It's what makes the Earth so perfect for sustaining life...almost as if Someone planned it that way.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.
