Lura Groen is the pastrix of All Saints Lutheran Church in Bowie, MD, and has the distinction of being the grossest clergy we’ve ever written about.
She’s claimed that Jesus was trying to SEDUCE the woman at the well, said that there are lesbian angels’ who ‘consensually’ flirt with queer Christian women, and compared the mystery of the Trinity to the luridness of sadomasochism and BDSM.
She’s argued that Christians are but one of many ‘brides of Christ’ because the Lord is “poly” and has ‘other lovers’ of different religions and faiths, and has promoted hook-up culture, premarital sex, and one-night stands.
During a recent sermon, not only did she give one of the most insane disclaimers ever to a sermon, giving a content warning and instructions for “self-care” while offending bible verses are being read, but she also told congregants:
“These scriptures are hard to preach on because I’m a little bit not sure we should even read some of them in church….I do not like these scriptures…I can’t find anything redeeming in (Paul’s) letter”

Stopped reading right there. She's already wrong as she's not obeying the NT as far as the injunction against female pastors/teachers.
I have a high school friend who I saw a couple of years ago.
She had become a “Methodist” female minister. She considered Paul, who wrote most of the New Testament to be an unreliable source, and she denied the divinity of Jesus.
I said: if you remove the divinity of Jesus and the scriptures written by Paul from Christianity, what do you have left?
She did not answer. All that is left is a sort of new age mishmash.
Very very very sad.

The anti-Paulines want the entire New Testament thrown out, except for the words of Christ. The only problem is that, if you do that, all you have left is the Old Testament because Christ enforced the Torah.
They are willing to reject the Apostles in order to enforce their opinion.

HOWEVER, her SIN of deliberately leading people astray and perverting the Gospel, has her CONDEMNED. Unless she repents and truly submits to God’s will, which I believe is unlikely, as her conscience has been seared.
