Most of us probably know the story of Abraham and Hagar, Sarah’s Egyptian maidservant. She became Abraham’s second wife and bore his first son, Ishmael. Conflict and jealousy arose within the family, which led to Ishmael’s banishment, not only from Abraham’s household but also from his father’s inheritance. And yet, the Lord said,
“And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation” (Genesis 17:20, NKJV).
Ishmael’s prodigy was not the recipient of the full promise that would only come through the natural lineage of Isaac and later Jacob. Like Isaac, Jacob (renamed Israel) also had an older brother, Esau. These two families would later intermarry through Mahalath, the daughter of Ishmael. “So Esau went to Ishmael and took Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, the sister of Nebajoth, to be his wife in addition to the wives he had” (Genesis 28:9).
And so, we see that the blessing of Abraham would also come to the family of Esau, who would also receive a portion of the land promised to Abraham.
There is another blessing in scripture for the Jewish and Arab people: the blessing of Shem, one of the three sons of Noah.
…It is almost impossible to know exactly where the descendants of both Ishmael and Esau dwell today. However, it is commonly accepted that the Arab people, including Abraham’s children born through his third wife, Keturah, are, by and large, their direct descendants.
“May God enlarge Japheth, And may he dwell in the tents of Shem; And may Canaan be his servant” (Genesis 9:27). And, may all the sons of Noah become one family of God in Christ.

Hagar was a surrogate mother, not a wife. The technology wasn't at today's level.
B’resheet (Genesis) 16:11-12
And the angel of the Lord said to her, “Behold, you will conceive and bear a son, and you shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard your affliction.
And he will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be upon all, and everyone’s hand upon him, and before all his brothers he will dwell.”
To this day this prophecy remains in effect.
She was essentially a concubine but the Bible refers to her as a wife in keeping with the standards of the time, and translation…
“Sarai his wife took her Egyptian slave Hagar and gave her to her husband to be his wife.” (Genesis 16:3)
All of this turmoil because Abraham couldn’t keep his Johnson in his pants.
Genesis 15:18
“In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:”
Moses was not allowed to enter the land promised to the Children of Israel, west of the Jordan to the “wadi of Egypt”, an area much smaller than Nile to Euphrates. The larger area outside of the Promised Land belongs to the Children of Ishmael.
You make it sound like Abraham was just horny and needed some action.
The reality is Abraham and Sarah did not have faith that God would fulfill His promise of a son as their years were advancing ( he was 100, she was 90). They determined they could bring God’s promise to pass without Him by having Abraham impregnate Hagar. The resulting son caused Hagar to despise and look down on Sarah, so Sarah sent Hagar and the boy away.
Nothing to do with the hormones of Abraham - everything to do with 1) a lack of faith, and 2) trying to play God. A deadly combination that we are still dealing with today.
Truck
Autualy Sarah is the one who tried to rush GOD’S plan.
