No problem! Hope we agree that our United States will bow down with every other nation to Jesus Christ!
You could have made a similar case involving WW2.
i do !
come quickly Lord Jesus !!!
The arrogance of Americans shows up when they ask about the USA in the Bible. Imagine Mexico or Chile asking where they are in the Bible.
Well said!
Israel has always been first and foremost a people - descendants of Abraham & Sarah. But not all - Esau, tho of identical bloodline, excluded.
What percentage of all Jews (blood) are in the LAND of Israel? “The percentage of all Jews living in the nation of Israel is 46.2%, according to the latest estimates from The Jewish Agency for Israel.”
So far more Jews are outside of the nation of Israel than inside it. Jews make up only 76.6% of the population of Israel.
These are the reasons that I question whether today’s nation Israel is the Israel of the Bible. I think no man can answer this question. I cannot. God knows. I don’t.

Anything of profound significance in the postings on this thread? Anyone able to locate America in Bible Prophecy yet?

AI OverviewA "sublime sense of humor" refers to a sophisticated, refined, and often understated sense of humor, capable of appreciating and expressing subtle or profound forms of wit and comedy. It suggests an appreciation for humor that is not base or crude, but rather elegant, thought-provoking, and perhaps even awe-inspiring.
Who has been in total control of the entire script all along? Does God operate outside of time, or is He constrained by it?
False premises lead to false conclusions, and truth is not created by consensus, no matter how many people decide to conform to it (safety in numbers), or are beaten into submission by do-gooders wielding the "truth".
Well, it's like what Cousin Eddie said about the TV preacher:
"His kids can fend for themselves."

"Watch this. Watch this."
Famous quotes and iconic images are recognized even by those who didn't read the book or watch the movie or sitcom. To wit:
You've heard it said,
"Shew me a penny."
Luke 2024 Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it? They answered and said, Caesar's.
25 And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.
The Latin letter "L" (aka the Roman numeral 50) is spelled "אל", the same as El (God).
First, I'll show you a Penny, to show Who writes the script, the same Who calls ALL of the Shots. Can't miss it; it's a signature style, so near and dear to the heart:

Has anyone noticed how CCs/transcripts are like little children...
They say the darndest things:
0:00Be that as it may, Doc clearly said "Watch this. Watch this," but for some odd reason those words are missing from the transcript. Repeated as if for emphasis, no less, yet..?

I've posted many times over the years about the significance of the Hebrew date and meeting-up time for the debut of the DMC time machine (11 Cheshvan), and also the integrated corresponding Torah reading (it begins on Gen 12:1), and other significant details.
Ahh, doesn't ever look like anything significant, I suspect.
how to say “dream on” in Hebrew
אַתָּה חַי בְּסֶרֶט
Someone makes you an offer that in their mind you can’t refuse – but you can, and easily. You might say to them, “dream on” (well, in the 90’s you might have), indicating that they’re are living in a dream world and are totally wrong in their judgment.
A Hebrew equivalent to dream on is אתה חי בסרט
to a male, and את חיה בסרט to a female – literally, you’re living in a movie. It can be used not only as a refusal of an offer, but also as a way of giving the person you’re speaking with a reality check – get real.
Last year, the sad news from the music world was that the Aerosmith band of brothers lost its voice:
“We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision — as a band of brothers — to retire from the touring stage.”Tyler announced he injured his vocal cords in September during a show on the band’s Peace Out: The Farewell Tour. Tyler said in an Instagram statement at the time that the injury caused bleeding but that he hoped the band would be back after postponing a few shows.
Tyler's soaring vocals have powered Aerosmith's massive catalog of hits since its formation in 1970, including “Dream On," “Walk This Way” and “Sweet Emotion.” They were near the start of a 40-date farewell tour when Tyler was injured.
“We’ve always wanted to blow your mind when performing. As you know, Steven’s voice is an instrument like no other,” the band said in Friday's statement to fans."
The past is gone
Oh, it went by like dusk to dawn
Isn't that the way?

The poster made a statement that the U.S. isn't mentioned in the Bible, and I merely made a statement. Do you always go off half-cocked?
For that matter, what makes you the expert? Can you be certain that some reference is made that might not be understood as being about the U.S.? Mt point is, what difference does it make if it is or isn't mentioned?
For me the answer is that it doesn't.

Yes. Post 56
No, here’s the real reason why we aren’t mentioned in the end times. We aren’t the central players. America is an influence. Not a principal.
Tom Hardy said it best in its most pure simple form. In the bike riders movie. Link provided:

I wouldn't be able to say. Interpretations belong to God, which certainly connects back up with the title of this thread.
Here are the verses overhead of the ones I had linked to (there's more above those that relate, but far be it from me to bog things down):
Mark 13
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, [even] at the doors.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
I never could be sure how verse 32 is supposed to sound, so I watch for the changes and try an' keep up..
It's like back in the beginning of the Internet/chat rooms -- without the benefit of knowing each other personally, or cues from facial expressions and tone of voice, total strangers could really get things messed up. What was meant as a good-natured quip might have come off as a vicious insult. Necessity is the mother of invention so along came faces made from text, followed by emoji characters. Yet a lot of damage had already been done.
I mention it because the "no man knoweth" verse really gets passed around. Yet what if Jesus' words go like this, which might explain why people don't know when the time is:
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
If that should be the case, it means one picture of a simple Jewish girl is as 1000 words, and a 1000 words as one picture:
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Fair enough,
I’m not trying to date set
That’s never crossed my mind.
Four years was Mentioned yesterday And this idea popped in my head.
The table is being set but it’s still a long way off for Us.
I’m more ‘PanRapture’ than anything else.
It’ll all Pan out In God’s hands.
Good article on today’s Israel and the Israel in the Bible:

Where is the United States in the book of Revelation?
The Book of Revelation, written by St. John, uses symbolic language to describe God’s ultimate victory over evil, the trials of the Church, and the establishment of the new heaven and new earth. It’s not a literal roadmap of future events but a theological vision with layered meanings
Revelation primarily addressed first-century Christians facing persecution under the Roman Empire, with figures like ‘Babylon’ (Revelation 17-18) often symbolizing Rome or worldly powers opposed to God. Its message also applies universally to the Church’s struggles across history.
Revelation does not name the United States or any modern nation explicitly. Its imagery (e.g., beasts, nations, kings) is symbolic, focusing on spiritual realities like evil, persecution, and God’s judgment, not specific countries. Some interpretations, especially in dispensationalism, try to link modern nations (like the U.S., Russia, or Israel) to Revelation’s symbols, but these are speculative and not rooted in the text’s historical or literary context.
And in this war, Netanyahu’s Israel did pretty well by itself. The USA just made the inevitable happen quicker
