He didn’t only say it once. On February 25, 2017, he made similar remarks speaking to the Roman Rota. And one of his closest advisors, his most frequent interviewer, Jesuit priest Antonio Spadaro, tweeted out a photo of a couple going hand-in-hand to meet with the Pope. The caption on the photo, as you can see, contains the words of the Pope: “The welcoming of those young people who prefer to live together without getting married…”
Ping
I don’t know what the future holds for Leo XIV, but I think that we have to thank God that we didn’t get the “Francis II” that we feared... Let’s face it, we dodged a bullet. It was quite within the realm of possibility that Cardinals could have found some German or BeNeLux bishop willing to double or triple down on Bergoglio’s morality-destroying liberalism.
Thanks for the ping, ebby. Unfortunately, your cartoon network doesn’t quite get it right; inflammatory and Francis bashing - yes, facts and circumstances - wrong.
Pope Leo beautifully commented on evangelization and family (a favorite topic for Francis and will be for Leo.) Why don’t we (you) leave your insane clown posse out of things and defer to the Pope?
He’s dead, Jim.
I appreciate that Leo XIV has a John Paul II appreciation for the beauty of Sacramental Marriage, but expresses it in a clear way one might expect from an American born Missionary, rather than a Phenomenological exercise, or even B-XVI’s German Theological treatises. I can understand Leo XIV on the first read. Refreshing.
Go have a beer with the coward who is supposed to be the Archbishop of New York. Are you going to join him at the Pride parade this month?
Exactly. Yet you post articles (with fake) headlines whose sole intent is to deride a dead Pope.
We have a potentially Catholic Pope?
Hallelujah!!!
I say, in this greater mess was the pope’s (Bergolio's) later but equally problematic comment about his being “sure that cohabitating couples are in a true marriage having the grace of marriage”.
Face it,oysitr; your favorite Jesuit pope was a heretic in more ways than one. And you and your fishwrap newspapers can never change that. Francis's soul is in God's hands now, not yours.
You can call the truth lies all day long, but they'll still be truths.
Hence it is can no longer simply be said that all those in any “irregular” situation are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace.
AMORIS LÆTITIA
OF THE HOLY FATHER FRANCIS
I see it, rather, as an article celebrating a Catholic pope, one we haven't had for twelve long years.
Actually, I look forward to Pope Leo. I doubt he does the reversals your “posse” expects. And, I am correct about your cartoon network and all their negative/attack articles. It seems you either don’t read or can’t comprehend your posts.
All more of your lies, oystir.
You have yet refuted one article. You just pound sand like a little child.
P.S. It's not possible to post positive articles about Jesuit heretics.
Do you support the following heresy from Bergoglio's Amoris Laetitia:
Hence it is can no longer simply be said that all those in any “irregular” situation are living in a state of mortal sin and are deprived of sanctifying grace.
Yes or No?
If "yes", you're a heretic like Franics; if "no" you're admitting Francis is a heretic.

What compels you to do this?
To do what?
If you are suggesting that Pope Francis took a different look at failed marriages in a way that was not quite what Benedict calls a hermeneutic of continuity, I would agree.
As for my correctness, which you call lies, see post 15. Your callous postings from the spiteful, delusional cartoon network is a fact.
That’s not a refutation. That’s a referral to your fellow modernist heretic.
And Pope Leo did not refute Pope Francis. Reading is fundamental, ebby.
