Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

Colossians 4:2-6 Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ, on account of which I am in prison— that I may make it clear, which is how I ought to speak.

Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.

Father, we thank You for the privilege in living in this free country and the opportunities You have given us to make things right here spiritually and politically.

But the spiritual comes first and so we ask that we'd be faithful in discharging the responsibility You have entrusted us with in being witnesses for You and the finished work of Christ on the cross, and spread Your gospel freely. Thank you for an administration that is actively working to protect us and provide that opportunity.

Give us grace and strength to go forth and preach Your gospel. Give us boldness in spite of the increasing attacks on us from the enemy.

And give us perseverance to continue to pray for America as we did so hard before the election. Let us not become complacent since things have improved some. We can never afford to let down our guard in prayer as the enemy will never quit.

Amen. LORD, please divinely codify and ratify the righteous measures of this administration so that their impact be generational and lasting. Not up for reversal every 4 years. Also wanted to lift up every emerging leader considering a run for office in future elections — be they local or national. LORD, please fully equip those who seek to do Your will.
