During a recent sermon at The Potter’s House in Dallas, T.D. Jakes suggested that when God breathed life into Adam, He “breathed Eve into Adam,” and that ‘Adam was Eve’s momma’, implying a bizzare maternal role.
We’ve recently written about Jakes when he noted how he disgraced his wife with his twerking comments, joined Joel Osteen for a conference where tickets cost $1000.00 , and is known to frequently wear insanely expensive designer shoes, clothes and watches that cost more than many of his congregants make in a year. Jakes, who has continued to be platformed by those at the Christian Post and Charisma News, as well as most other evangelicals like Steven Furtick and Christine Caine, has gone on record saying he doesn’t believe that Jesus is the second person of the Trinity but rather is just a “manifestation” of God. In fact, even now, his church website reads, “There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”
He preaches:
On the seventh day the sabbath Savior rested. On the seventh day the sabbath Savior, he the one who said ‘I am Lord of the sabbath’ the sabbath Savior, rested. But Adam failed while the Savior rested.
And so the sabbath Savior had to break his rest and become the ‘searching Savior.’ And the voice of the Lord walked through the cool of the garden and God said ‘Adam, where art thou?’
He didn’t ask where Eve was because Adam was Eve’s mama. Eve was born out of Adam so when he had breathed the breath of life he had breathed Eve into Adam.
“Male and female created them and called his name Adam.” And the searching Savior knew that if he found Adam he found Eve. So he didn’t say ‘Eve where are thou? Adam where art thou?’ The searching savior broke his rest to find his lost son. What a mighty God we serve.

I will not comment of which gender is superior ... But man should be alert to what The Adam did when the Heavenly Father ask him what he had been doing ... Why God that woman YOU gave me, made me do it .... H E L L O
Actually, Bishop T.D has it wrong. Adam is technically the FATHER of Eve.

Doesn’t really matter what “rib” means in hebrew, the point being God didn’t take a part of Adam from his head or some his toe. He took it from his SIDE. She was to be his helper, not inferior, not superior. The symbolism is clear.
Paul affirms this when he says in Christ there is neither Jew nor Gentile, male nor female. We are all equal in God’s eyes.
Yes, he hold the male responsible for things........but that’s not what we are talking about. Females are not 2nd class citizens to God.

Mark me whatever you want in you arrogance. My salvation is in a person, Jesus Christ. Some some guy with the arrogance to mark people who is in and who isn’t.
God the Father is a “spirit”. Jesus Christ (the promised Messiah) cannot be just a manifestation. In order for Jesus to be the sacrificial lamb for our sins, He had to be truly MAN (human) as well as truly God. He had to be born in the flesh, live a sinless life, then die an undeserving bodily death. Then be resurrected bodily, thus winning over Satan. This the awesome wonder of the sacrifice God did for us. If Jesus was only a manifestation there would have been no agony on the cross, no real sacrifice,
Genesis 1:27 So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; MALE AND FEMALE he created them. This passage is before pulling Eve from Adam and his rib later in Genesis. It’s an odd passage...Would God create Adam, male and female, so he could separate out Eve later? I sure don’t know.
God looked for Adam because Adam had broken his relationship with God.

Big box stores have the lowest prices, but they make it up in volume sales
Big box churches, have the highest cost, and few of them are in it to give “customers” what they need in the manner of Faith. They too exist to rake in the Almighty Dollar. Having nothing to do with leading people to “The Almighty”.
I could name the Churches, but why step on toes that are in it for enlightenment, not self gratification.
