I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Heavenly Father,

We come together across this nation today to bless You, to magnify You, and to exalt Your Holy Name. You are worthy, Father, to receive all honor, glory, power, and blessing. We know that Your eyes are upon us and that Your ears are open to our voices. You are also near to those who are of a broken heart. We are grateful for Your compassion and love, Father. Your eye is upon all those who fear You, upon those who hope in Your mercy.

Lord, we ask You to look with eyes of compassion upon the families who have suffered loss this year either through terrorism, crime, sickness, or weather-related destruction. Redeem their souls, Lord, and let none of them that trust in You be desolate. Father, for those who do not know You, may there be new opportunities for them to love and accept You as their Lord. Guard their hearts from the evil one who seeks their destruction, and lead them to the living waters of Your Spirit.

Lord, may Your people Israel be blessed beyond measure and may there be peace and the power of Your protection there. We confess that You are their hiding place and You keep them from trouble. Please compass them about with songs of deliverance.

We thank You for the life of President Carter and for the fruit he showed for Your glory. May we remember the good that he did and may he receive his heavenly rewards. Father, may this be a good week for President-Elect Trump and may he follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all areas of his life. We thank You for Speaker Mike Johnson and we ask that the Spirit also guide him with the wisdom from above.

Give us boldness as Believers, Father, and may we seek always to win souls for You. The days are short and the time is near for our Savior’s promised return. Let none be left behind. Help us always to be glad in You Lord, and to rejoice in You. Let Your mercy be upon us in this new year as we place our hope and confidence in You. We are forever grateful for the Beautiful Gift of Your Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, in Whose Mighty and Awesome Name we pray. Amen.

We are reminded of the courage of the early defenders of free grace who struggled in its defense at the Jerusalem Council and again through the travels of the Apostle to the Gentiles. Paul even warned the Galatians that a trifle added to Christ's "Tetalestai" would undo an efficacious saving faith. Today, a multitude of heresies seek to add a trifle to Christ's work and thereby undermine the faith of many earnest souls. We pray for those under such bondage.
,br> We turn now and pray in opposition to the evil actions/manipulations of our current leader; a man doing whatever possible to subvert the success of the President-elect. Rampant inflation will hit the country shortly, small time to major trouble will come from 20 million who have illegally crossed the border. The deep state will also weasel nefarious actions into undermining the country and dimishing the new administration.
A most unfair judge seeks to humiliate President Trump on the 10th so that he will assume office under the monicker of "a convicted felon." Intervene, therefore, Lord, that such unregenerate people will be caused fall into their own traps. Thus, we fervently pray for new judges to rise in the place of these unprincipled men.

We conclude under the name of the One who will be the Ultimate Judge of all mankind, the One who gives salvation as a gift, and has finished all required work for it to be available for us.
