FATHER GOD,

Thank you for the greatest gift there ever was and will be . . . the love of GOD sent to earth in the form of a Perfect Child to save humanity from sin and death.

“This is how GOD loved the world: He gave His one and only SON, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. GOD sent His SON into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.

“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in Him. But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in GOD’s one and only SON. (John 3:16-18)

It is because of GOD’S LOVE that we love. It is because of GOD’S MERCY that we have eternal life. It is because of GOD’S REDEMPTION that we have forgiveness. It is because of GOD’S GRACE that we have new beginnings.

FATHER GOD,

Draw close to those who are alone today, especially our military men and women who are deployed.
“I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

Comfort those who mourn the death of family and friends.
“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28).

Reveal Yourself to those who are searching for Who You are.
“Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” (Revelation 3:20)

On this sacred day, may believers around the world rejoice about the real REASON for the SEASON . . . our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. May our lives reflect CHRIST’s love to those around us, and may we act upon divine appointments to spread the Good News wherever we go.

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.

A Christmas Hallelujah Cassandra Star & her sister Callahan

Thank you for hosting this thread and posting me. It is a daily reminder to entreat the Lord and dedicate the day to Him.

Our Father,
We praise Thee for the Advent of Christ and securing our salvation through His life, His words, His struggles, and His vicarious death. You have offered us eternal salvation as a gift because He succeeded.

Now saved from eternal torment we are freed to make Him the central object and chief focus of our lives. Deepen our regard as we drink in the "water" of the Word.. We pray that our faith will be steadfast and strong, that one day we might receive His "well done."

On other matters and in accord with Paul's admonition to pray for civil leadership, we ask that You mitigate the actions of the current President, one who overthrows justice and ruins our national/cultural integrity. We ask that his allies in Congress, in a different time might be referred to as "children of Belial," and "false teachers" will receive a bitter taste of God's displeasure. For these liberal/progressive apostates applaud the denial of justice and take delight in undermining Your righteousness will.

We thank You for protecting our newly elected president. Grant him an easy path to inauguration and help him turn this country around. Bless his counselors and cabinet nominees. Strengthen his impact on Congress and the Supreme Court, we do ask.

According to Your will and purpose,
And in accord with the name of Christ,
we do so pray, our loving Father.

Amen! Merry Christmas!

John 1:14
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Lord,

Many within the Church sing beautiful, heavenly praises to Thee and can play instruments with the skill of David on the harp. They understand music like a scientist understands chemistry or physics. Unfortunately, such skill is lacking and quite foreign to many who wish to bless Thee in song. Lord, we earnestly look forward to that great day when we will unreservedly join others in tune and harmony, a great heavenly chorus lifting our hearts to our God and Savior.

God is with us❣

Amen. Celebrating the goodness and amazing love of our God with you today.
