Our Father,
Who Art in Heaven
Hallowed be Your Most Holy Name!

A few months ago people saw a miracle. As hundreds of thousands of people watched, both in person and on TV, a speeding bullet pierced the upper earlobe of Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump, as he was giving a speech in Butler PA. A chart about Immigration, which usually was projected on one side of the stage towards the end of the speech, was inexplicable shown on the other side of the stage, much earlier than expected. President Trump turned to look at the chart, and...ZING... the bullet went by, pircing the ear and continued onward. In the audience stands, Firefighter Corey Comperatore was tragically killed as he covered his wife and daughters with his own body. Other Audience members rushed to provide assistance, while the rest of the crowd did not panic, but stood their ground. Trump, now surrounded by Secret Service Agents, rose to his feet, pumped his fist in the air, and said "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT"

Those are the facts. There are dozens of theories about conspiracies, collusion, subterfuge, incompetence, and other things, but the path of the bullet, the presence of the chart at that moment when it was not expected, Trump's head turn at that precise second, and the placement of the shooter are all things that can't be explained away.

Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, of Detroit's 180 Church, called it a "Millimeter Miracle". A "millimeter" is the tiny amount of space between the bullet piercing President Trump's ear, or piercing his brain.

At the age of 11, I was totally traumatized by the Assassination of John F. Kennedy. Like many Americans my age, I remember everything that happened on that day, as well as every emotion I experienced. I wondered why God would allow such a thing to happen. I also wonder what course our country would have taken had it not, or if the assassin's bullet missed their target.

While we don't understand miracles as they are happening, we can often see them in hindsight.

I am fully convinced in my own heart, that miracles DO happen, even in our Modern Age. There are some things that can't be explained any other way.
