GOD is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So, we will not fear when earthquakes come, and the mountains crumble into the sea. Let the oceans roar and foam. Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!

A river brings joy to the city of our GOD, the sacred home of the MOST HIGH. GOD dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, GOD will protect it. The nations are in chaos, and their kingdoms crumble! GOD’s voice thunders, and the earth melts! The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the GOD of Israel is our fortress.

Come, see the glorious works of the LORD: See how He brings destruction upon the world. He causes wars to end throughout the earth. He breaks the bow and snaps the spear; He burns the shields with fire.

“Be still and know that I am GOD! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the GOD of Israel is our fortress. (Psalm 46)

FATHER GOD,

Thank You. In the midst of chaos and destruction from Hurricanes Helene and Milton as they devoured everything in their paths, Christians shone the light of Christ. HOLY SPIRIT worked through them as they saved people from the floodwaters, built roads, sent monetary gifts, counseled and fed the victims, and gave them clothes and shelter.

When the government failed to act, You made a way where there was no way. In these darkest moments You, GOD, are there. You promise to never leave us or forsake us. You see us through.

Draw close to all who grieve the deaths of friends, neighbors, and families. Help the communities start over. Prosper them and give them hope.

Protect the communities that are in the line of fires in the west. Protect the firefighters. Send gentle winds and rain to subdue the flames.

When people say, “Why did GOD allow this?” bring to their remembrance,

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)

Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8)

You, GOD, are good. Your unfailing love continues forever, and Your faithfulness continues to each generation. (Psalm 100:5). You make all things work together for those who love the LORD, according to His purpose for them. (Romans 8:28)

As the election draws near expose and stop the cheating, wake up the non-voting believers and those who are in bondage to the Democrat Party. Put the fear of the LORD in them. Terrify them with Your warnings as they sleep at night.

Give favor to righteous candidates on November 5. Thwart all schemes to cheat and steal the contested races. May President Trump/JD Vance be the victors! May the election be too big to rig.

Believers are turning their face to You as they ask forgiveness and plead for mercy. LORD, forgive us and heal our land. Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD! (Psalm 33:12)

We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. “May they prosper who love You, Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces.” (Psalm 122:6-7)

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
