The pilgrimage itself is beautiful. In the cool Fall weather, pilgrims will process 3 hours (seven miles) through Arlington National Cemetery and past the Lincoln Memorial, Reflecting Pool, Washington Monument and White House, carrying Catholic banners, chanting traditional hymns, and praying the Rosary. It is a beautiful and evangelizing experience. Bookending the experience, we will be chanting the hours of Sext (outside St. Thomas More) and None (outside St. Matthew). Return shuttles will be provided. Highlights of past pilgrimages can be found here and here. This year, we are skipping speeches at the end.
We firmly believe that the graces provided by this Pilgrimage have allowed the Latin Mass to continue to thrive in Washington, D.C. and Arlington despite restrictions forced by Rome. We are grateful to our bishop, Bishop Burbidge, for applying to Rome to renew the permission to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass in select parishes and off-site in Arlington, and pray that the authorized locations may grow in the future. To learn more about the pilgrimage, and to register and/or volunteer, please visit tlmpilgrimage.com. To join or support the Arlington Latin Mass Society, which sponsors the pilgrimage and informs the local community of Latin Mass times and updates, click here. And have a blessed feast of the Assumption!

We'll see -- I'll see, as I'll be there, starting at his doorstep.
