Allendale United Methodist Church is one the most progressive we’ve ever seen. Led by Rev. Andy Oliver, his congregation is “committed to anti-racism and radical solidarity with folx on the margin,” while he himself is “grounded in liberation theology and following Jesus” while being “a community organizer who always located himself with the oppressed.”
When they’re not having drag-queen-led worship services, Easter services, monthly drag-led bingo, or selling merch featuring Jesus as a drag queen, they’re preaching cringe sermons that give trigger warnings for “violent” bible verses, reassuring congregants that if the scripture is too triggering, people can leave, all the while leading them through calming breath exercises.
Check out that shirt from this speaker at, then keep on watching for a wonderful surprise that I guarantee you’ll hate.
“This is me, a man who loves to preach about Jesus, is openly gay, and has a side he’s never shared before, until today” Impastor comes out as drag for the first time to , while insisting that gay men in two income households need to redistribute the queer wealth.

“United” Methodist leaders are trying to unite God’s church to hedonism.
I’m too busy laughing by butt off right now so the two of you do something for me please?
Post all “offensive” Bible Verses you know of~~~
Trying? Trying? After what I just saw on this link? It’s more than try they have succeeded.
Satan is triggered by Bible verses.
So the UM hedonists now have little influence.
progressive = insane
Pertaining only to the title and breathing, I am a little suprised churchs do not promote meditation, not just on the word of our Lord but meditation in general.
Sorry, fake preacher, you can do one or the other, but not both.
Go join the UCC where your heresy fits in--or better yet, REPENT and decide to follow the real Jesus, not the Marxist antiJesus.
I’m watching one of three videos on the link.
What is one of the Bible Verses that “offends” them?
Mark 6 14-29
14 And king Herod heard, (for his name was made manifest,) and he said: John the Baptist is risen again from the dead, and therefore mighty works shew forth themselves in him. 15 And others said: It is Elias. But others said: It is a prophet, as one of the prophets.
16 Which Herod hearing, said: John whom I beheaded, he is risen again from the dead. 17 For Herod himself had sent and apprehended John, and bound him in prison for the sake of Herodias the wife of Philip his brother, because he had married her. 18 For John said to Herod: It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother’s wife. 19 Now Herodias laid snares for him: and was desirous to put him to death, and could not. 20 For Herod feared John, knowing him to be a just and holy man: and kept him, and when he heard him, did many things: and he heard him willingly.
[20] “And kept him”: That is, from the designs of Herodias; and for fear of the people, would not put him to death, though she sought it; and through her daughter she effected her wish.
21 And when a convenient day was come, Herod made a supper for his birthday, for the princes, and tribunes, and chief men of Galilee. 22 And when the daughter of the same Herodias had come in, and had danced, and pleased Herod, and them that were at table with him, the king said to the damsel: Ask of me what thou wilt, and I will give it thee. 23 And he swore to her: Whatsoever thou shalt ask I will give thee, though it be the half of my kingdom. 24 Who when she was gone out, said to her mother, What shall I ask? But she said: The head of John the Baptist. 25 And when she was come in immediately with haste to the king, she asked, saying: I will that forthwith thou give me in a dish, the head of John the Baptist.
26 And the king was struck sad. Yet because of his oath, and because of them that were with him at table, he would not displease her: 27 But sending an executioner, he commanded that his head should be brought in a dish. 28 And he beheaded him in the prison, and brought his head in a dish: and gave it to the damsel, and the damsel gave it to her mother. 29 Which his disciples hearing came, and took his body, and laid it in a tomb.
Eastern meditation is looking inward. Christian meditation is focused on God in Christ, through His Word and His Spirit.
Word-oriented churches like most non-Lutheran Protestants want nothing to do with meditation. Sacramental-oriented churches like Catholics and Orthodox practice God-focused Christian meditation in various forms already. Lutherans, who straddle between Word and Sacrament, could benefit from meditation, but generally aren't interested--and I am LCMS so I know of what I speak.
Sorry, it’s not a “Christian” church, no matter what they claim themselves to be. It is now wonder that fundamentalist Methodists are leaving the UMC, taking their Christianity with them and letting the UMC continue to whither.

It’s likely just the ones that disapprove of sodomy. That seems to be the left’s total problem with the Bible.
Don’t know much about L Ron Hubbard or this clown Andy Oliver but I’m thinking Ron may have been more sane.
I now call it the “untied church.” Untied to anything holy or good.
I can’t believe this denomination peaked in my lifetime.
I do remember attending some fellowships (evangelical Baptist) at a large Methodist Church in my city as a child (dad was a baptist minister.) The Church building is still around, but I think the congregation is a pitiful vestige of its former days.
These people need psychiatric help. Glad we disaffiliated two years ago.
“Rev. Andy Oliver ... is “grounded in liberation theology and following Jesus” while being “a community organizer who always located himself with the oppressed.” “
LOL! The groups he references are anything but “oppressed” these days. In fact, if you even think about oppressing them even mildly you can go to prison, such power they have.
