“For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.” John 5:26
“Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth on me, though he die, yet shall he live” John 11:25
The resurrection is not an event of either the far-off past or far-off future but is rather, the very present living Person of Christ. “I am the resurrection” is the present life of Christ in the same sense as He is the present Water of Life and the present Bread of Life Who supplies in Himself every need of spiritual thirst and spiritual hunger. “The Resurrection” is all the present and living power the saved ever hoped for. This is because He is also the ever present Life, Way, and Truth. The Life is therefore the true blessing and Way of all who accept Christ by faith and identify themselves with Him.
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:
Merciful, Holy, and faithful Lord Jesus Christ, though the present world is erupting in fire and brimstone, if even for a moment, draw our gaze upward to the present crucified, risen Christ, for just as spirits of evil already lie crushed under His triumphant feet so too will all evil-doers be vanquished by Him as well one day. So draw our hearts upward away from our modern Sodom and Gomorrah and its monstrous perversions to the eternal Living Waters above! For even a moment, o Lord, lift our minds up high, far away from this cesspool of desolation, disintegration, chaos, madness, evil, and filth that our thoughts might joyfully reflect upon our promised eternal life in the radiantly beautiful Celestial City ablaze in the living Light of Your love. Your resurrection has already washed away our sins, restored our innocence, and brought us inestimable joy. So help us when we are downcast as we are so often these days, merciful, loving Father, to experience Your resurrection anew every day that in these dark days we might live in peace and certainty as we patiently await Your return and the fulfillment of Your glorious promises. Lift our gaze upward, for all glory, honor, and power are Yours dear Lord! Amen
Hallelujah! He lives! And when the living “Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.” Colossians 3:4

So very AMEN! thank you much. Joining in prayer and thanksgiving. To God be the Glory.
God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob, look down on us in pity, do not punish us for our sins, which are grievous and many, but have mercy on the whole house of Israel and house of Judah and all the nations who seek your face, fill us with your Spirit, that we may love you with all our heart, soul, and strength, and our neighbor as ourself. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD.
Amen.
Amen!

July 4th is a time to reflect on God’s goodness to us as a nation. Molded into the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia (which proclaimed our independence) are these words from the Bible: “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof” (Leviticus 25:10, KJV). Our legal system reflects our Judeo-Christian roots.
While we look with gratitude to the past on this July 4th, may we also look in faith to the future, and commit it and our lives to God and His will. The ancient words of the Psalmist are still true: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord” (Psalm 33:12). ~ Billy Graham
Amen!
Thank You, Father God, for our Redemption. We pray that more people will be drawn to Your Word, that they may adore the Christ.
Help us to keep our joy, though this fallen world is collapsing around us. Let us always remember that this world is not our home, we are just passing through.
Amen!

Psalm 85
To the leader. Of the Korahites. A Psalm.
1 Lord, you were favorable to your land;
you restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2 You forgave the iniquity of your people;
you pardoned all their sin.
Selah
3 You withdrew all your wrath;
you turned from your hot anger.
4 Restore us again, O God of our salvation,
and put away your indignation towards us.
5 Will you be angry with us for ever?
Will you prolong your anger to all generations?
6 Will you not revive us again,
so that your people may rejoice in you?
7 Show us your steadfast love, O Lord,
and grant us your salvation.
8 Let me hear what God the Lord will speak,
for he will speak peace to his people,
to his faithful, to those who turn to him in their hearts.*
9 Surely his salvation is at hand for those who fear him,
that his glory may dwell in our land.
10 Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet;
righteousness and peace will kiss each other.
11 Faithfulness will spring up from the ground,
and righteousness will look down from the sky.
12 The Lord will give what is good,
and our land will yield its increase.
13 Righteousness will go before him,
and will make a path for his steps.

AMEN!
