Prayer For Revival In Our Land
Jeremiah 29:7 “Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
Dear Holy Father God, once again Your Free Republic intercessors come together to stand in the gap for America and the nations of the world. We confess our sins of self-centeredness, pride and idolatries above You, for which You are--undeservedly for us--most merciful and gracious. We thank You for Your loving patience and kindness. We continue to ask for national revival and spiritual healing, as well as for our friends, families and Freepers, too. Please dear Holy Father, hear our cries to heal our land. Pour out Your divine peace and blessings upon America according to Your mercy, even as we are blessed with consequences under Your loving discipline. Amen.
Loving Lord Jesus, it saddens us to see the way that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is being so compromised in America. As a nation we have moved so far from Your True Gospel of grace. Our churches and fellowships seem to be embracing many alternative and compromised false teachings not true to Your Word.
Revive this land we pray. Stir up the hearts of those who've come to trust in Jesus Christ, but are enticed to follow a different gospel; or choose to walk the way of compromised. Let those that are Your blood-bought children be stirred in their hearts to seek Your Truth and draw ever-closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. Abba Father, for those who once trusted You but are now wandered far away, we pray that You will speak to their hearts, revive their spirit and draw them back into close fellowship with Yourself. Revive this land, we pray, in the Name of our King Jesus Christ, amen.
For National Repentance, Deliverance and Truth
Dear Lord and Heavenly King, thank You that there are no boundaries in Your kingdom and that You ultimately rule over heaven and earth, despite the fact that wickedness and evil seeks to dominate the nations of the world as well the lives of individuals.
We pray that You would set up godly men and women in positions of leadership and power in our own nation and in all the nations who exercise authority in our world today.
Thank You for those leaders that are prepared to stand up for truth and righteousness. Give them boldness to challenge those who want to remove the principles of freedom and tolerance and establish the flawed principles that come from human wisdom.
Lord, we pray that You would guide the leaders of many nations to repent of their sins and turn to the path of peace that only comes from You. Help them to understand that the only peace that will ever be established on earth will be under the rule of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, after Your wrath has been poured out on a Christ rejecting sinful world. Have mercy Lord. Have mercy on all the leaders of nations who do not know You. We pray that many will be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose Name we pray, amen. Why Do People Love Darkness More Than Light?

It is not God’s will that people love the darkness, but that they will see the light. But people are evil, and that is why they love darkness. The Bible says: “the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed” (John 3:19-20).
Living in darkness: Ever since Adam and Eve sinned, man has lived in darkness under the power of the prince of darkness, Satan. The world is called “this present darkness” which has “cosmic powers” over it, that is to say, Satan and his demons. This is in total opposition to God, for “God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1: 5).
Jesus came into the world as light: However, God did not leave this world in darkness. He sent his son Jesus, who said “I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness” (John 12:46). That is the only hope for the world. That is the only hope that people will turn from darkness to light. God is the only source of light, and only He can give us light. If we believe, He “has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).
Delivered from the domain of darkness: When we have received that light from God, we have been delivered from the domain of darkness and transferred to the kingdom of his beloved Son (Colossians 1:13). “Whoever follows the Son will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12).
The darkness appeals to the natural man: Since believers still have to struggle with the old man, it is necessary to warn them “take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness” (Ephesians 5:11), and to “cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light” (Romans 13:12). We do so enthusiastically, especially because we know that ‘this present darkness’ will last not much longer. Jesus is coming back! “The night is far gone, the day is at hand” (Romans 13:12). Knowing that, the Lord sends us into the world, like he sent Paul, to all people “to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith” (Acts 26:18).
For it is not God’s plan that people love the darkness, but that they will receive his light!

Holy Father God, hear our prayer!
We dare not give evil a passing glance and then quickly look away, claiming our frailty or our desire to shield ourselves from pain and suffering. Instead, we must TRUST IN YOU to stand form and confront evil head-on, glaring directly into its face, our hearts filled with Your Holy Spirit, abiding in You and Your Word. Clothed in the full armor of You provided us, the time is now for us to pray and stand.
It is time to stop hiding way Your Light that shines through us. We were not designed to play defense, fearfully lowering the dimmer switch to barely that of a nightlight, fearfully sneaking throught the darness. We are called to be a bright, shining light, YOUR LIGHT—exposing and dispelling the darness!
It’s time to run the frontlines and boldly reclaim all the enemy has stolen in every area of influence, in Amercian and around the world—in Your Name! Let us stand upon Your solid rock, pray and watch as our prayers move Your heart and hands in mercy, availing much!
We lift up Your Word and Light up the world, Holy Father! In the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ! LORD, You are our lamp and shield. Your way is perfect, and Your Word is True; You are our light and refuge. Amen!
