I think God meant for us to be warriors....I don't think God intended for people to get slaughtered...abortion/war/violence/rape/etc...without a fight....

As Christians, we are to be leaven in the culture. A society less immersed in the Culture of Death is more open to conversion.

That being said, along with being concerned with political (which are often moral) issues that eventually impact all of us, we have to be careful not to neglect the core message of the Gospel.
