Did he play the Acoustic guitar intro?................
In his dream................................
I’ve always wondered at the significance of his dream.
Does it show that beings in Heaven are constantly coming and going having certain jobs to be done? Is it an allegory for some future time when Heaven and Earth will be the same?
Many different interprtations:

There is a lady of the world that we all know and she knows she can get what she came for.... Robert Plant’s Rock Anthem, “Stairway to Heaven” in the song writers own word’s is about a woman who is selfish, cares about only herself and thinks she can live in heaven on earth because she buys everything she wants.
Is it any wonder those who reject The Bible are living today in a hell of their own making?
Balance is the key on earth to happiness, and the first rung on the stairway to heaven....

The context is Jacob running for his life and conditionally vowing after the dream to serve God, and the broad story at his return two decades later encompasses Jacob’s wrestling partner promising to be Jacob’s God and Jacob agreeing: a born-again conversion and regeneration.
The stairway shows Jacob at this early stage that, despite his present troubles, access to heaven is real and available, so he can be mindful of that during his years in exile. This one assurance is preserved and revealed, but surely Jacob had other incidents when God provoked him. He mentions his many sleepless nights guarding the sheep—did not God make good use of them?
A significant thing happening at this time was Jacob was re named by God as “Israel”. From now on when you read “Israel” instead of “Jacob”, Jacob would be operating as God would have him do. If we read “Jacob” in Scripture, Jacob would be operating as a carnal man. From now on all Jews will come from Jacob’s loins. Esau did not qualify even though he came from the same mother and womb. As we learn later ‘The Lion of Judah” will come from the line of Judah, so we will know what line to follow with attention for the Messiah. We should also gather from this that God opens doors that others can’t open and closes doors that others can’t close. God demonstrated this back at the Tower of Babel. Man can’t get to Heaven by works of his hands and cannot get to heaven except through God.
JACOB>>>ISRAEL>>>JUDAH>>>JESUS
So glad for grafting!
For me Jacob’s ladder signifies also humanity’ slow ascension toward heaven, one rung at a time, expanding our spiritual awakening.

Thank you, Dan.

Short of pulling the video and reissuing it, which I am loathe to do, that error must remain.
I know you can’t but wanted you to be aware.
(By the way, do you know where we can see The Chosen now that they have disassociated from Angel Studio? Season 4 will start this Sunday and continue next Thursday)
I always watch via the Come and See website, which is https://watch.thechosen.tv/.
Thank you!
See John 1:51 - Jesus says that he is the stairway that Jacob saw.
Thanks, a wonderful and important verse. But Jacob did not know that.
