YMMV

Now, in the middle of the coming 7 years of 'Peace and Security' ........ THIS shall happen:

Revelation 14 has all the answers on which is the right choice. I'm a pre-tribber, but I still put this info out there, for the world to read. The published Word of God will not return unto Him without serving His purpose in some way.

====

Revelation 14:9-12 King James Version (KJV)

9 And the Third Angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the Beast and his image, and receive his Mark in his Forehead, or in his Hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the Wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the Cup of His Indignation; and he shall be tormented with Fire and Brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the Beast and his Image, and whosoever receiveth the Mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the Saints: here are they that keep the Commandments of God, and the Faith of Jesus.

====

(now this part just talks about them (Tribulation Saints, eventually reigning) during the Millennial Reign of Christ)

Revelation 20:4 King James Version (KJV)

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the Witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the Beast, neither his Image, neither had received his Mark upon their Foreheads, or in their Hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a Thousand Years.

Lotta end-time talkers. There is an abundance of end-of-the-world signs, especially since the atom bomb.

By far THE number one end-time issue is:

Life is in the blood. When your blood is dead, you are dead. Your individual end-time could be anytime, even today. People lying in a hospital bed, knowing their end-time is only days or even hours away. Nothing else matters.

And “Dr” Jeremiah has never taught the Biblical conversion of the soul during his long career: Acts 2:38.

Thank you for mentioning Acts 2:38

Acts 2:38
21st Century King James Version

38 Then Peter said unto them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Thank you for posting. I copied the basic article and tried to bold the text much like it is (with a little modification):

===============

What Must I Do to Be Saved?

Turning Point

Dr. David Jeremiah

Exactly how does Jesus come into my life? What’s the process of becoming a Christian? Four brief passages of Scripture in the Book of Romans explain how to turn your life around through the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

1. Because of our sin, we are separated from God—All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Few people dispute this, because we’re too aware of our weaknesses and moral failure. We all have regrets, and most of us deal with guilt at various times and in various ways. We know something is “broken” within us.

Someone sat down beside Will Rogers at a dinner and asked the comedian, “What's wrong with the world, anyway?” Rogers replied in his famous drawl, “Well, I dunno, I guess it’s people.”

In response to an article in The Times of London entitled, “What’s Wrong with the World?” the writer, Chesterton, replied, “I am. Yours truly, G. K. Chesterton.” All of us are sinners, and we need to find some way for dealing with this problem.

2. The penalty for our sin is death—For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). This verse encapsulates the whole Bible in a nutshell. God is life and light, He is pure and perfect. His presence cannot abide sin and wickedness; and because we have sinned, we’re separated from Him. As a result, we’re as dead as a tree limb when sawed from the main trunk. The word death is used in the Bible in the sense of separation. Physical death occurs when the soul is separated from the body. James said, “The body without the spirit is dead” (James 2:26). Spiritual death occurs when the spirit and body are eternally separated from God by sin. But this verse goes on to offer hope: God wants to give us a gift—eternal life through Jesus our Lord.

3. The penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ—But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). The verb “demonstrates” is a good, solid, active verb. It means that God didn’t just love us in a sentimental way. He did something in human history that proved His great love. It was the death of Jesus Christ. Though we are sinners, Christ died for us. The great message of the Gospel is this: God loved us despite our sinfulness, and He chose to become a man Himself—Jesus Christ, the perfect, sinless God-Man—and to die in our place, taking the penalty of our sins upon Himself that we might have the promise of His life for ourselves. He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.

4. If we repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sins—If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. . . . For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:9, 10, 13). There's a promise we believe and a Person we receive. You can pray right now, telling God you’re ready to trust Christ as your Savior and confess Him as Lord. By the time you get to the final “Amen” you’ll be a new person in Christ. Why not pray right now:

Dear God, I admit I’ve sinned and fallen short of your glory. I realize the penalty for my sin is death, and I believe it was paid by the shed blood of Jesus Christ. I’m willing to repent of my sins, and I now confess Christ as my Savior and make Him the Lord of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

5. Can you be sure that if you ask Christ to save you, He will? Yes! He has done it. Take this promise with you: Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God…. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life (1 John 5:1, 13).

God bless you, and congratulations! Welcome to His family!

His article has a glaring flaw. He uses Romsans, James, and 1 John to present his conversion instructions. Those are epistles that were written to people already converted:

Romans 1:7, “To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints:.....”. Chapter 6:3-18, shows Paul reminding the saints in Rome of their conversion. Chapter 16 shows him saluting church members, verse 19 being a notable commendation. That’s the context. And Paul laments the lost condition of the unbelieving Israelites in chapters 9 and 10; emphasizing that they too, like anybody, can be saved. But, they have to believe what a preacher sent from God teaches them.

Philip was sent to preach to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-39). He “preached unto him Jesus”; and in the next verse the man wanted to be baptized. So, Philip had obviously taught that to him. As an ordained minister of the gospel, it was part of Philip’s job to remit sins, (the first ones ordained to do so being the 11 disciples (John 20:23).

James 1:2, “My brethren, count it all joy....”. That is the first of ‘brethren’ being mentioned 15 times. That’s the context.

1 John is loaded with passages showing John speaking to converts, 2:20,21 and 3:1,2 being excellent examples.

There is an abundance of end-of-the-world signs, especially since the atom bomb.

That's certainly a key time marker.

The birthday of the Atomic Age is July 16th.

It's the 197th day of the year (non-leap), the same as the number of letters describing the first day of Creation (Gen 1:1-5).

Immanuel [עִמָּנוּ אֵל] = 197.

The atomic weight of gold (79) is 197 (196.97 ± 0.01), and

79 years ago this July:

The Atomic Age, also known as the Atomic Era, is the period of history following the detonation of the first nuclear weapon, The Gadget at the Trinity test in New Mexico, on 16 July 1945, during World War II. Although nuclear chain reactions had been hypothesized in 1933 and the first artificial self-sustaining nuclear chain reaction (Chicago Pile-1) had taken place in December 1942,[1] the Trinity test and the ensuing bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that ended World War II represented the first large-scale use of nuclear technology and ushered in profound changes in sociopolitical thinking and the course of technological development.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_Age

In his official report on the test, Farrell (who initially exclaimed, "The long-hairs have let it get away from them!"[103]) wrote:

The lighting effects beggared description. The whole country was lighted by a searing light with the intensity many times that of the midday sun. It was golden, purple, violet, gray, and blue. It lighted every peak, crevasse and ridge of the nearby mountain range with a clarity and beauty that cannot be described but must be seen to be imagined ...[104]

The Hebrew date was the 6th of Av, the same as this lone point of Jewish History (First Human on the Moon) which crosses back over with the Gregorian date for the launch of Apollo 11 (🤔):

Monday, July 16, 1945
6 Av, 5705

Jewish History

First Human on the Moon (1969)
On July 16, 1969, Apollo 11 was launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. After a successful landing on the moon's surface, Neil Armstrong became the first human to step foot on our celestial neighbor, on July 20, corresponding to the Hebrew date of 6 Menachem Av (after nightfall in eastern U.S.).

The Moon symbolizes the Kingdom of David and if things couldn't get any more peculiar, the display home for the Saturn V *is* the Davidson Center.

I think Zuriel is referring to full immersion baptism as a sign of Salvation, not just belief.

Correct Zuriel?

Correct. As Peter testified to the Jews on Pentecost, of Jesus of Nazareth, of his life on earth with miracles, signs and wonders, also confirming:

his death and his resurrection;

And also David’s words concerning Jesus, and that he has been “made both Lord and Christ”.

The people hearing those words obviously believed them, believing that Jesus is the Christ, for it shook them into conviction.

They knew they needed deliverance, asking “what shall we do?”

Peter commanded repentance and baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and that they would receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).

About 3,000 souls believed Peter’s words and were baptized that same day (3,000 souls÷12 apostles=each apostle baptizing about 250 souls. Whew!).

Jesus commanded his apostles to remit sins (John 20:23), and on that first day of the church they surely did.
