But somebody will do the obvious thing. I would bet the folks who get away with it will be from the Mexican cartels. Or other factions in the government who are on the losing end of some political conflict. They will set things up to blame members of a "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy"(tm). That will work for the first few times. Then it won't.
Everybody is going to hate the new ways of doing things. Even the Federales will get sick of it. It will lead to collapse and anarchy. The Leftists will lose that civil war they are pressing towards with such joyful acticipation. I wonder what new system will be created in the aftermath.
The obesity rate is a handy barometer for civil war likelihood, in my opinion. If the poorest people are the most likely to be obese then there is very little chance of civil war, at least judging by history and observed human nature.

It amuses me when folks here think that weapons and brawn are going to save the Republic. Those people are living far in the past.
All that will save now are brains and minds.
They wouldn’t push for it if they didn’t think they had the whip hand and could win it. To me, the questions are: 1) why are they so sure they are in the morally superior position; and 2) why so they think they would win such a thing?
The concept of law is irrelevant to our enemies. To hear our side harping about “the law” is like the poor, naked Jew telling the German that it was illegal to close the oven door. It was, but the German doesn’t care and the Jew can’t enforce his position.
