And wherever Scripture clearly speak of the next conscious reality for those who die in that effectual faith then it is with the Lord, at death or His return (whatever comes first), by the grace of God. Mormonism is what happens when white people come up with their own version of Islam.

In the West, yes, very fitting.

Prophet claiming to be a successor of Biblical prophets (thus appropriating authority) hundreds of years later, and thereby providing new revelation.

Claiming corruption of the Bible or the understanding of it, with additional revelation forthcoming as need requires.

What’s actually worse is the mishandling of it by a religious organization claiming to represent Christ to the world.

They didn’t deal with sin in their midst but covered it up and enabled the abusers, making them complicit as well. From someone who (hypocritically) takes the high moral ground, no less.

And THAT is the point of posting these articles. Some people seem to be motivated more by hating Catholics than by hating sodomites and rapists. Someone who is serious about getting rid of sexual abuse will understand that the problem is much larger than one Church.

If Catholicism were serious about getting rid of sexual sin in its midst, it could have and should have done so over a thousand years ago.

It's had over a thousand years to address the problem and in that time it has not, but rather protected the abusers and enabled them.
