I really respect someone of the Jewish religion who believes they are the chosen people. But the way someone can become considered Jewish and a chosen person is if they adhere to their beliefs. Thus, the key to becoming a chosen person is to reject Jesus Christ. I cannot see how someone can claim to be a follower of Christ and follow this belief.

Sorry, Israel is reaping what they sowed here. There is a lot more to this story than we know and it probably very complex. Bibi needed a war to take attention away from his corruption and the problems he has caused by some of his domestic policies the most controversial being his so called judicial reform that most people were against. He has been in power way too long and Israel is suffering for it.
No country is aiding Hamas, not even Iran. Khamenei made a speech condemning Israel. Then the head of the Quds force told Hamas Iran would not join the fighting. Hamas is on its own.
No one has stopped Israel from fighting Hamas as they choose.
