I really respect someone of the Jewish religion who believes they are the chosen people. But the way someone can become considered Jewish and a chosen person is if they adhere to their beliefs. Thus, the key to becoming a chosen person is to reject Jesus Christ. I cannot see how someone can claim to be a follower of Christ and follow this belief.
Their is a plan. A tree. Christians grafted onto that tree. Not the otherway round. The roots are in the soil of Israel. The roots themselves are a people chosen by God to reveal the plan by being an essential part of the plan. It’s all mysterious, but each passing day becomes clearer
You are right in a spiritual sense, the natural branches who persist in unbielf will be cut off and burned. Being chosen means NOTHING for Salvation only YESHUA alone.
No, because the Israel of GOD, Messianic Jews, are growing everyday!
The Apostle Paul discusses all of that in Romans 11. He talks about the blindness and hardness of heart that has taken over the Jewish people. They are still God’s chosen people, as Paul discusses, due to the promises that God made to the Old Testament patriarchs. God will again deal with them as a nation but it will be during the great suffering of the Time of Jacob’s Trouble (also called the Great Tribulation). As Paul says, right now they are enemies of the Gospel (though many are coming to faith in Jesus) but still beloved of God. I think the point of the article at All Israel is that the time of the End of the Age seems to be drawling very near.
