> How is baptizing people on school grounds passing a law that establishes religion? <

That would be an interesting defense to watch.

“Your Honor, what law has the Congress just passed establishing a religion by holding voluntary baptisms on public grounds?”

Exactly. Pirate’s Cove in California is a beach that has been home to countless tens of thousands of baptisms, beginning in the 1960’s Jesus Revolution times. It’s public land.

Meanwhile, from a high school in Upstate NY...

This is a horrific case.

But praying Christians are the threat.

The problem for me is the teacher was advocating for one religious group over another.

It looks too much like denominational favoritism to me.

The thing is - did he get a permission?

Without that, he was wrong.

I would object to school grounds used for an Islamic prayers.

Fine; I’ll put you down as favoring the state over parental rights.

Ok, how does everyone feel about parental consent laws for baptisms?

parental consent for baptism ? Jesus condemned those who would stop a child from coming to him, that includes parents who would stop a child from requesting to be baptized.

I didnt see where the parents were upset. it was a satanic chad who was upset kids were accepting the lord.

It isn’t. But evil distorts everything for its own purposes.

Let me see if I can help you understand. The coach works for a public school. Thus he is an agent of the state. From all information available, it appears that he baptized minors without parental permission. If you’re ok with the state usurping parental authority in a case like this, what’s to stop another teacher from usurping parental authority in the case of a child who’s convinced that he’s the wrong “gender” and wants to transition behind his parents’ back?

Care to reconsider?

I’m thinking if this ex-Coach was not black, he would have been fully fired, from both football and any teaching position. He’s lucky to still be hanging on.
I do not justify or agree with the firing from football, I’m pointing out, like it or not, this is the way the present day world works now. It is what it is.

No, Jesus never asked permission to baptize anyone, those kids came on their own free will. you can grasp at straws and make up far fetched " what ifs" to your hearts content. God dont play that game.

The fact he baptized them on school grounds is irrelevant. except to you, the atheists of america and satan.
