Asked about traditionalist Catholics who do not like his "approachable attitude" and his "accessible language," the pope responded, "Many are scandalized because they claim I am desacralizing the papacy. They belong to the, let us say, more aristocratic sectors. On the contrary, the simple people feel a just veneration for the pope."

Emphasizing that holy orders, including the diaconate, are "reserved for men," Francis argues that, in theory, a woman could be a cardinal, since "the cardinalate is not connected to the sacrament of orders, but rather to the function of advisor to the pope."

If, however, women were to be made cardinals, "I could issue a decree that changes the requirements for entering the conclave and allows a bishop who is not a cardinal to participate," since only bishops can elect a pope.

Anyone who has even a cursory knowledge of Islam and history knows without question that it is not, and never has been a religion of peace. In Islam the world is divided into two parts, the House of Islam and the House of War. If you are not in the House of Islam, they are at war with you.

Awhile back I did a calculation. Based on its size, Vatican City can take in at least 2500 migrants. And there is room in the Vatican Gardens to build housing for them all.

Yet Francis has not instructed the Swiss Guards to permanently admit one and all.
I wonder why. Perhaps Francis is a hypocrite of the worst kind.

After 3 combat tours in Iraq beginning with Desert Storm I can say without reservation I-sham is NO RELIGION, it is a DEATH CULT masquerading as a religion. All these people defending it are deluding themselves into thinking that given the opportunity, they could be beheades by those practitioners of the "religion of peace" because they are an "infidel".
