As a Catholic, I see this guy’s actions as one of a mentally ill - a very mentally ill person. This is apparent in his assaulting the woman before and the ambulance driver after.
He should be helped in a mental institution
I suspect that his problems are more spiritual than mental, and the staff in a mental institution will be of limited help to him. He literally assaulted an ambulance driver; he symbolically assaulted Jesus. There's something really off about him assaulting the people whose help he truly needs.
Democrats watched 'One Flew over the Cockoo's Nest' and used that movie to push for de-institutionalization, homelessness and to reap the financial benefits of an insane policy.
Why not try living like one? Christ was the King of Peace, not a copy of Zeus.
