Wrong. Punishment isn’t for being *stupid* or *gullible*, but rather for rebellious and disobedient.
And no, God’s children do not deserve punishment at all, much less because they make mistakes.

We let this happen. It should have been stopped, but it wasn’t. I’m not giving us an out here.
I feel CatOwner’s frustration and anger about this to be honest. Most of us have been fools and we’ve trusted the “W’s”, Obama’s, and Bolton’s of the world to only have them pull the wool over our eyes.
That said, God always provides a way up to the last second of life - even for those who perpetrated the crimes and evil. That’s how loving and merciful He is.
