There ya go again saying things that just ain’t true!!!
The Scriptures are a road map to Calvary. I believe this road map to be accurate and complete. I trust in the Scriptures to be Truth. I place my faith in the One True Messiah that shed His Blood for the remission of sins. I believe the prophecies contained in this Book. Both past and future.
I place my faith in Jesus Christ and none other.
It’s a travesty whenever a false doctrine corrupts the road map and places detour signs in front of Calvery.
Galatians 1:6-8
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Matthew 7:14
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
I’m inclined to fold my map and walk away, knowing some here have chosen that detour.
Matthew 15:14
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
You ask about faith in Scriptures and Grace?
If I had little faith in the Scriptures, I too would be inclined to take a detour and fall from Grace. If I were lost I could even end up in Rome.
If you abide in Me and My Word abides in you, you will ask what you will and it will be done for you. John 15:7
I have a Bible, Torch.
You don’t have to keep cherry-picking it to your own personal liking (so protestant) to prove a lie.
Scripture never says that Scripture is the sole infallible authority for God’s Word. Scripture also mandates the use of tradition.

What happens when ‘tradition’ conflicts with Scripture?
Who prevails?
“...Messiah that shed His Blood for the remission of sins...”

What did He say about his blood? What did He say about redemption and eternal life? I believe our Lord said that he would not leave us orphans. I believe he said that we must eat His body and drink His blood.
So, Mr. solo scriptura, how do you do this?
If you believed in the Bible, you would believe in the transubstantiation.
So...ignore the inspired scripture that is “God-breathed” and instead...believe in the garbage the Roman Catholic church made up during the next 1000+ years to control people!
May God grant you repentance!
Who said “ignore” it?
Hebrews 11:31
King James Version
31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
Hebrews 11:13
King James Version
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
“If you believed in the Bible, you would believe in the transubstantiation.”
The Scriptures WERE written with adults in mind. From John 6:
“35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. 36 But I said to you that you have seen Me, and yet do not believe.”
In the next chapter, “Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”
So...must I believe Jesus is a Water Fountain, and every fountain is literally Jesus Himself? How do you “drink” Jesus? And then what happens when you do? Will you start squirting out water?
Yes, that seems to be what he is saying. You know, tradition like the Scripture means whatever the RCC says it means. Tradition such as intercession, or Mary worship. RCC puts their beliefs and man-made traditions ABOVE scripture.
We live in a majority catholic country, and those we share the gospel with on a weekly basis have NO IDEA about salvation. The ‘church’ has been here for 500 years, baptizing babies and telling people it is OK you’ll go to heaven. That is the state of the apostate church, found all over the world in Protestant denominations too, but especially in the RCC. Shame on you all, you will be held to account.
The gospels came out of the church, not vice versa.
Look at their history.
Y’all have it backwards.
I’m not a cannibal are you?
I’m sure this disagrees with the lies your used to hearing, but some clown in a turned around collar leading people to hell, does not have the power to “create” God through his hocus pocus.
He should stay in his own lane. Let’s just hope it doesn’t involve altar boys because it ends up costing your cult a fortune in order to pay off the victims parents.
And this is the type of person you place your faith and trust in to create God?
Evidently ebb tide has a fascination with sola scriptura. He’s posting daily to try to disprove it. This is usually the sign of being in the denial phase that his current belief has serious flaws.
Amen.
Matthew 4:4
King James Version
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
You hate The Bible, we get it.
The only thing that tradition would offer is how previous peoples applied the Scripture.
You have just posted the ‘justification’ for pappy Francis to invoke any and all doctrine …. I still do not understand the hate for Martin Luther…. And no I am not Lutheran, but I have yet to find him to be as bad as the instead of Jesus.. yet day in and day out you post Martin Luther complaints against Frankie.. Mass confusion.
