AMERICA Prayer Vigil (Sept. 12, 2023) [Prayer]

Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

Dear Holy Father God, only You are worthy and deserving of all honor, majesty and blessing. You created everything in the universe exclusively by Your power alone. You made us in Your holy image for your pleasure and glory. You love us. As we cry out to You today, all of our thanks and praise go to You. Everything we have You've bestowed on us; all the rich blessings You've poured out upon us and America. It hurts us, and know it hurts You even more, to see your gracious blessings abused and unappreciated today, as we have become selfish, spoiled and puffed up with the pride of life.

We beg you Holy Father, to forgive our insult and ingratitude to You. We pray to return our hearts and minds back to You, for Your praise and glory. We rebuke our pride, haughtiness, worldliness and idolatry.

We remember the 9/11 attacks which seemed like divine consequence for America beginning 22 years ago. For a while after, the people seemed to rally, repent and acknowledge You. But soon after it seems we became distracted once again, and our pride and selfishness returned with a vengeance. Holy Father, what will it take for America to turn our focus and dedication back to you?

As America undergoes divine correction, humble us and deflate the narcissistic pride of the people trying to be our own little gods. Humble us, Dear Holy Father, break us down before the cross of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Put us back in our place, Father God--We are so unhappy in the mess of our own creation.

We proclaim again and rededicate America as Yours, Father God. We praise and give thanks for every gift and blessing you have showered upon this nation, and dedicate each back to You, so we may use them as You planned. We give thanks for Your correction, which shows that You love your children so much You discipline us for our own good. Thank You for all the gracious chances You give us to repent. Help us righteously stand our ground upon the Rock.

We repent from our pride, haughtiness and idolatry of self. We rebuke all disrespect and hatred of You, willful ignorance, substance abuse, fornication and adultery, sexual perversion, abortion, divorce, destruction of family, redefinition of marriage, transgenderism, false religion, satanic worship, human trafficking, murder, abuse, gluttony, anarchy, greed, corruption and all the antichristian foolishness and destruction which have become institutionalized in American culture. Holy Father, strip all of this death away from America now and put us back as the Founding Fathers intended. We cry out for Your discipline and justice--we know that it's coming, for Your honor and glory! We pray for our enemies and trust in You to deal with those who insist on cursing You.

Thank You, Father God, for Your Holy Spirit, who guides us back onto Your path--The Helper You sent to us for encouragement, wisdom and direction which leads to repentance and deliverance in these difficult days of judgment. Thank you for Your divine healing. Show us the way to live in a manner that pleases You, all to Your praise and glory. In the mighty Name of King Jesus we pray, who voluntarily laid down His life so we may live, amen.

Prayer For God To Direct The Path I Take

Dear Heavenly Father, I know that You have promised that if I acknowledge You in all my ways, You will direct my path and make them straight. You have also promised to keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You.

Help me not to be afraid or discouraged when the way I take gets steep and rugged, for with You as my guide I need fear no evil.

Order my steps today I pray, and uphold me with Your righteous right hand, for only with You at my side may I go in safety,

Thank you, metmom. Here is your powerful prayer for America from Sept. 11:

“Father, It’s been 22 years since our enemies so callously and ruthlessly attacked our land. It’s a day that we can never forget and never afford to forget.

We thank You that even in the midst of such tragedy, we saw good overcoming evil and Your love displayed by many individuals who helped others with no thought for their own safety and welfare.

Thank You for the selfless sacrifice of so many people those who lost their lives in trying to rescue those trapped in the building, when the the buildings collapsed.

We ask Lord, for Your comfort and peace to all those who lost loved ones in this attack. Please bring healing where it’s needed for those injured or traumatized by those events.

We ask for Your protection against other such planned attacks. We certainly are not in a position of deserving it, but ask that in Your mercy, You would do that and that You would touch hearts, especially today, and turn them to You.

It seemed like we were on the brink of revival after the attacks, but it died on the vine. We also ask that Your Holy Spirit would stir up again in people’s hearts a desire to turn to You and seek You out. Bring many to a place of salvation. We know that You desire it more than we do so we thank You in advance for Your answers to these prayers.

Please, once again bless this country with Yourself. In Jesus Name. Amen”

Prayer Of Deliverance From Spiritual Apathy

Loving Lord, I ask You to deliver me from any spiritual apathy and luke-warmedness that has crept into my life almost unseen, as I have drifted away from Your arms of grace.

I know in my heart that I have left my first love, the Lord Jesus Christ, and have neglected the things that I ought to do while doing all the things that I should not have been doing.

Lord, I ask Your forgiveness.

I come to You now in sorrow of heart, knowing that I have wasted such precious time, as I recall the beautiful fellowship we once enjoyed. But Lord in Your grace, I ask that You restore me and refresh me and renew a right spirit within me. Revive my flagging spirit with the breath of life from Your Spirit of joy, for in You is life and joy and love for evermore.

Thank You Lord, that when I am faithless, You remain faithful and true forever. Praise Your holy name,

For National Repentance, Deliverance and Truth

Dear Lord and Heavenly King, thank You that there are no boundaries in Your kingdom and that You ultimately rule over heaven and earth, despite the fact that wickedness and evil seeks to dominate the nations of the world as well the lives of individuals.

I pray that You would set up godly men and women in positions of leadership and power in our own nation and in all the nations who exercise authority in our world today.

Thank You for those leaders that are prepared to stand up for truth and righteousness. Give them boldness to challenge those who want to to remove the principles of freedom and tolerance and establish the flawed principles that come from human wisdom.

Lord, I pray that You would guide the leaders of many nations to repent of their sins and turn to the path of peace that only comes from You. Help them to understand that the only peace that will ever be established on earth will be under the rule of the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, after Your wrath has been poured out on a Christ rejecting sinful world. Have mercy Lord. Have mercy on all the leaders of nations who do not know You. I pray that many will be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in Whose name I pray.

We humble ourselves, O Lord of heaven and earth, before your glorious Majesty. We acknowledge your eternal power, wisdom, goodness, and truth; and desire to render you most unfeigned thanks, for all the benefits which you pour upon us; but above all, for your inestimable love, in the redemption of the world by our Lord Jesus Christ.

We implore your tender mercies in the forgiveness of all our sins, whereby we have offended either in thought, word, or deed. We desire to be truly sorry for all our misdoings, and utterly to renounce whatsoever is contrary to your will. We desire to devote our whole self, body, soul, and spirit, to you. And as you inspire us with these desires, so accompany them always with your grace, so that we may every day, with our whole hearts, give ourselves up to your service.

We desire to be so holy and undefiled as our blessed Master was. And we trust you will fulfill all the gracious promises which he has made to us.
