Yes all scripture is profitable..totally agree. If one preaches expositorilly, verse by verse from a book of scripture, then nothing is missed. I gave an example of just finishing John after 5 years, with breaks in between to preach different books, going verse by verse. Nothing was missed doctrinally because the book determines the sermon.
That statement “all scripture is profitable “ was written before the gospel of john was written.
What do you describe as scripture and on what basis do you include those books?
