Those who espouse the secret rapture theory are just the same as though who preach that the messiah is hiding away somewhere on earth. WE aren't supposed to believe them. The REAL 2nd coming of Jesus will be visible and unmistakable. He will return in glory and power at the last trumpet. Not in secret and stealthily like a robber and a coward.

I sure have. And you've been conditioned to believe that has to do with a secret return of Christ. In fact it has to do with the day of the Lord...which has a lot more to do with God's judgement on the earth rather than the return of Christ:
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
The point isn't that Jesus is returning like a thief in the night...but rather that people will be unprepared for his return and especially the events leading up to it. They will be decieved into thinking they are safe from judgment and destruction. Just as the people of Noah's time were caught flatfooted so too will people be when the day of the lord comes.
Well there’s your first mistake. Nothing put out since the KJV is reliable. They’ve all been translated from the Hort-Wescott translation which is based on corrupted manuscripts.
