“The names were changed to protect the innocent”
Modern Greece and Greek differ from ancient Greece and Greek.
The ancient and modern name of the country is Hellas or Hellada (Greek: Ελλάς, Ελλάδα;
"It turns out that both "Greece" and "Hellas" have Greek roots, but "Greece" was adopted by the Romans (as the Latin word "Graecus"), and later adopted into English, according to the Oxford English Dictionary. The OED says Aristotle uses "Graiko" as the name for the first inhabitants of the region.

Modern Greece and Greek differ from ancient Greece and Greek.Not enough to matter a hill of beans. Yanni reads New Testament Greek all the time, and has NO PROBLEMS understanding any of it. None. He doesn’t buy the schtick, that the brothers of Jesus were cousins, not for a moment. I don’t buy it either, and nothing you can say, will change my mind. You can believe whatever you want about Jesus’ brothers, but we will NEVER agree on it.
Just don’t have some inordinate fear of Hell. It’s a horrible place, full of weeping and gnashing of teeth 🦷 You shouldn’t want to end up there, but I think upwards of 97% of the world’s population will burn 🔥 The chances are not good. Don’t fall for it. I don’t. I have assurance of salvation. I am pretty confident, that you don’t. If you don’t, that’s on you bro.
