Evolution: The change in gene frequency in a given population over time.
FACT: You can watch bacteria (reproduce every 20 minutes) change gene frequencies in a short period of time.
Theory Human Evolution: the belief that modern humans evolved from a simpler common ancestor. Good evidence, but can’t be reproduced or observed. So will remain theory.
Species Evolution: Humans do this all the time with Animals. Cows, dogs, horses, chickens, pigs, just about everything wherein breading is controlled we have changed gene frequencies over time. Does anybody think that say a pug dog would have survived in the wild 10k years ago? Yes, by choosing which animals breed you effect which traits are passed, and the traits are in the genome. Therefore humans change gene frequency of creatures around us all of the time.
Evolution is fact, human evolution is theory. Hope this helps people understand the difference and why the politics of it should be less emphasized.
For those who would biblically shun me, the Bible says GOD created man and the Animals, it doesn’t specify the methods.

Evolution takes several generations to happen, correct? Which means that things have to die.

Pastor Rogers always gives good sermons. Thanks for sharing. Evolution (macro) is an interesting theory but it’s still just a theory. I remember being taught in school as if it were a fact, but it never seemed logical to me.
Micro-evolution is a fact. No one disputes that.
When anyone attempts to argue with me that macro-evolution is also a fact, my argument against it is:
There would have to be a new male species that was born to some other species.
At the same time, there would have to be a female of the same species born at the same time.
Both this new male and female would have to survive to adulthood.
Animals that are deformed die very early on.
They’d have to be born in the same very small geographical area in order to find each other.
Both would be a genetic deformity of the previous generations of the same species.
There would only be an extremely small chance they would even make it to adulthood.
There is zero evidence of any transitory species. If this was not a fact, there would be thousands, if not millions, of transitory species in existence today. There are none.
