The Congregation for Bishops is currently investigating Tyler Bishop Joseph Strickland, 63, Texas, a Catholic, reports ChurchMilitant.com (June 24). The pretext for this Apostolic Visitation is unknown, but it doesn't come as a surprise since Francis persecutes anyone who is Catholic. Strickland has defended the faith on Twitter.com and offered fraternal correction to other bishops. It goes without saying that homosexualist bishops who are destroying the Church are not investigated by Francis, but promoted.

Sorry, but this is what happens when:
A. There are no term limits.
B. There is no check on imperial power.
I fear for the Catholic Church. It is very important going forward! But there are so many forces - both within and without the Church - who will do the Church harm. There is a reckless and woke pope. And then there is the homosexual mafia. Etc.
I am not optimistic.
Bergoglio is the Obama of the Roman Catholic Church. So many of the faithful were horribly misled by media and public figures at the beginning of his anti-papacy- and he has undone the good works of JPII and Francis. From what I have read and heard, he is a truly nasty creature, vicious and spiteful.
I am optimistic.
The gates of hell will not prevail.
Christ will not abandon His Church.

Optimism is a false philosophical idea. It’s always better to be hopeful. They are not the same thing. Be hopeful just like Christ intended us to be.

Yes. I am hopeful in Christ. Better said that I am confident in Christ.
But I am not hopeful about the Catholic Church.
We tend to give popes names such as John Paul the Great.
This pope has earned the title Francois the Apostate.
The term limits are death.
And the check against imperial power is Christ Himself.
Not to make light of your concerns, which I share, believe me. But Christ promised us the gates of hell wouldn’t prevail against the Church, so that’s what we are going with.
By the way, a little cause for optimism:
I hear that the bishops...even if they lean liberal...are not liking what this pontificate is turning into. The Pope is being an autocrat stepping on their toes and micromanaging what they can do within their dioceses, and that is not appreciated.
The Great Good Lord didn’t leave us a Church of perfect men.
He left us a Church filled with men searching and striving for perfection. Even Pope Francis. Or should I say, ESPECIALLY Pope Francis.
Our job - our MISSION - should we agree to accept it, is to pray, pray, pray!
Some of our greatest saints started their ministries as some of our worst sinners. And, in that, I am hopeful for us. And, Yes, I am hopeful for Pope Francis.

Nor am I which is why I am a traditionalist who practices my faith in the various Tridentine (Latin) Mass communities. The Satan Council (Vatican, 1962-1965) was convened to destroy the Catholic Church and replace it with the Conciliar Church. And Satan’s Pope was appointed to finish what the Council mandated. Sad but indubitably true!

Correct, but I’m sure he has already abandoned the Conciliar Church which was established by the Satan Council (Vatican, 1962-1965) to replace the one founded by Jesus Christ! Otherwise Satan’s Pope would not now be soiling the Chair of Peter as he finalizes the destruction mandated by VC-II.
The “Conciliar Church” could not ever displace the True Church; so Bergoglio is resorting to his new “Synodal Church”, built on the ruins of the “Conciliar Chuch”. It too will fail. Miserably.
The Catholic Church has outlasted all of its enemies.

True, but obviously He did not mean by that assurance that the Church would always be governed in strict compliance with the doctrines of the faith. And the Church today, as in times past, is obviously being governed by minions of Satan as anyone knowledgeable concerning the truths of the faith can easily discern. Therefore, obedience to the dictates of the Satan Council (Vatican, 1962-1965) or of Satan’s Pope is probably committing a mortal sin.
Pope Frank is not just Catholic trash, or Christian trash. He’s human trash.
