I sincerely believe you will find much needed success from this. I remember fighting going under for the one operations I had, so I understand, but not getting your specific operation done would have really led to bad complications.
Stay on top of your recovery. Look for signs of infection or of other issues resulting from the operation.
I am really glad you went through with this. You did something very good, and you helped your spouse, who was very concerned, rightfully, for you.
Give that lady a hug, and know we care for you, too.

Isn’t it beautiful that surgery can make something serious, good again?
I have a close relative who had to have hernia surgery, and he’s as good as new. Everything’s normal. Life is back to whatever good or bad things existed before the hernia ever happened.
It will be that way for you, and I want you to get yourself even healthier than you were before.

I am going to thank the Lord morning, noon, and night everyday.
Next 20 or so days is going to test me, as I am not supposed to lift anything heavier than 15 lbs and move slowly...yet I Will be back in the game soon enough!
