The judgment on the Tower of Babel builders should concern us all, because it is a continuing judgment on all their imitators. The Tower represented a one-world governmental center in defiance of God. Its purpose was to undo God’s judgment and to restore paradise by man’s ostensibly sovereign acts.

I have linked the tower of babel to today’s globalism. Their goal is to have control over all people and the earth. They discount God.. a higher Power than all of them. God came down and said NO. Jesus will return and the answer to globalists will be NO.
It could very well be that antediluvians still possessed some of the gifts God had bestowed upon them. Certainly Tolkien thought so as his Higher Elves, meaning the ones who left the Blessed Realm for Middle Earth, still possessed the gift of telepathy.
And that is why the current Tower project will end catastrophically and its builders will not escape the Wrath of God.
