End Times Ping
FReemail me if you wish to be added to or removed from The End Times Ping List.
Maranatha!
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”
- Matthew 24:36-39
“Paul, in his epistles to the Corinthians and the Thessalonians, had more than once spoken as if the coming of our Lord Jesus was very near”
Yes, it WAS near, in 70 AD. Jesus promised that the generation listening to Him in 30 AD would see Him in glory.
We know from Josephus that the people in besieged Jerusalem saw the signs of a heavenly host and we know that the temple was utterly destroyed, not one stone resting upon another.
We also know that the Jesus movement Jews ie the Christians saw the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD as a fulfilment of Daniel, of the Olivet discourse and of the Revelation of John and that us why Christianity spread further after that.
I love it when scoffers come to an article written about them.
How nice!
Namecalling and pigeonholing are absolutely poisonous to intelligent debate or discussion. They are not indicative of acting in good faith.
We can do better.
The reason all the stones were overturned was because the fire in the temple was so intense, the gold melted into the joints between the stones and the Roman soldiers were digging them up to get to them.
Of course we all know all that to be discredited in our day. Preterism is a wrongful interpretation of scripture.
Yep. It’s too bad Jews today think the Temple stood on the so-called Temple Mount. Imagine their shock when God Almighty shows them where the Temple REALLY stood.
Good article brother. Hopefully it encourages all of us to remain true to the faith, no matter how many scoffers we encounter.
Ironic, is it not, that people scoff at Bible prophecy unfolding before their very eyes, and yet believe all the doom and gloom globull warming, green energy, petroleum is destroying the planet, Covid vaxxes are *safe and effective* and any other MSM promoted hysteria that comes across the screen.
So you, as a Catholic, are going to accuse Peter (your “first Pope”) of name calling?
He wrote the book on scoffing.
Folks believe what they want to apparently - they even invent their own facts.
Just look at the trolling going on in the key word search above.
Satan has more people fooled than we can even fathom.
That’s right. No one knows the DAY or HOUR, as Jesus said after giving a dissertation of the general signs of the coming end that the disciples asked for.
All that matters to me is that I am ready. Period.
The rest I leave up to God.
Perhaps today, perhaps Tish'a B'Av =)
Maranatha!
——>Preterism is a wrongful interpretation of scripture.
So is futurism. Historicism is the ONLY way to view prophecy.
I don’t believe “scoffer” here is name-calling. It’s just a descriptive word used legitimately in an attention to save lives.
Please see:

Yeah, just like plenty of “scoffers” here don’t believe they will be judged by God’s law.
SCOFFERS Mocked and Cursed Jesus
on the Cross.
.
We can do better...
