God’s wrath is not a subject that is on the lips of many people today, even in the church. Unfortunately, as the church has stopped preaching it, the unrepentant have stopped fearing it. Consequently, the majority of people are completely ignorant of it. Yet, God’s wrath is clearly brought into view in Romans 1:18-19: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.”

Meaning the Gentiles are indicted as sinners based upon rejection and perversion of the general revelation given them via nature and innate morality, thus

“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” (Romans 1:21)

“For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:” (Romans 2:14)

And the Jews, as recipients of express Divine revelation, “And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law,”(Romans 2:18)

are indicted as sinners by disobeying the substantive revelation they knew: “Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.” (Romans 2:23-24)

Which leads to the collective judgment,

“that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” (Romans 3:19)

Therefore all are in need of the sacrificial redemption that is Christ:

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” (Romans 3:24-26)

“Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.” (Romans 3:29-30)

“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ for ever. I’m surprised (very) that it hasn’t hammered us down yet.

God truly is merciful. One day soon it will - that should give us all pause, and if we’re honest with ourselves - we contributed to it also.

God has a history of giving lots of warnings before really bring the hammer down and I think we’re in that warning phase.

All true. What we see now is all because a "complete" gospel message is not being taught. You hear all about the love of God, which is indeed a part of the Gospel, but you never hear the flipside of the message, His wrath against ungodliness and the certainty of hell for the unbeliever. Many, many teachers will be severely dealt with either at the Judgment Seat of Christ or the Great White Throne judgment.

As a result, the masses are asleep and will only "wake up" when the judgments start, and by then it will be too late for many. I fear for the masses, for my own family, because of the judgment soon to come.

I believe America is already beginning to experience the wrath of God. He is patient at this point though, giving everyone the opportunity to repent and be saved.

I agree with you that we are on the precipice of GOD’s Wrath to be unleashed by what we are seeing in the world today, the beginnings of birth pangs. Time is short for winning souls for Christ.
