'Now in this country, "God" is a derogatory term,' Damon Atkins said after his arrest last weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania.
READING, Pennsylvania (LifeSiteNews) — A Christian protester in Pennsylvania was arrested Saturday as he quoted Scripture verses in response to an LGBT “pride” month event.
Damon Atkins was arrested by Reading, Pennsylvania, police officers on June 3 for “criminal disorderly conduct” for preaching against the Reading’s first ever “Pride March and Rally” outside City Hall on Washington Street.
The event included men dressed as sexually exaggerated versions of women and the raising of an LGBT rainbow flag atop the City Hall building.
Atkins, who held up a sign that read “God said go and sin no more” and wore a shirt with a message reading “You must be born again,” stood on the opposite side of the street from pro-LGBT activists and spoke out against the proceedings.
Matthew Wear, a Reading resident who had been preaching across the street for a short time before being told by an officer to cease doing so, began recording the pro-LGBT parade — where he said children were in attendance — and captured the footage of Atkins being arrested in a video posted to YouTube.

I saw the video and believe the arrest did not include “You have the right to remain silent . . .” It also appeared that the “officer” attempted to trip Atkins while escorting him.
Those deviants better enjoy it while they can. Hell won’t be so enjoyable.

They don’t have to do that unless they are going to try to get a statement from him. And it did look like the cop tripped him and was roughing him around because he was angry.
And there was ZERO legal basis for that arrest. Not even close.
As they proved extensively during covid, the BLM terror riots, and on Jan 6, the police have generally chosen the enemy side.
If that cop wasn’t on video he wanted to violently beat that Christian.

A lot of em are which is why they go to extremes to “protect” their “birds of a feather”.
Not even kidding. He really took it personal. I could even -slightly- get it if they had a permit and he was creating an imminent threat of violence like challenging and insulting people.
But this was one guy and three or four friends, standing completely across the street... quoting Bible verses. The cop took it WAY to personal. That wasn’t just disinterested law enforcement. The cop is a homo.
