An anonymous Utah parent has requested for the Bible to be removed from the Davis School District, complaining about its “pornographic” content.
The parent is exercising his or her right under a new Utah law that allows materials to be challenged or reported as indecent. If the text includes sexual acts, that book is to be immediately removed from school shelves. New reports say the parent included an eight-page document that cited offensive passages with rape, incest, sex, and nudity examples in the Bible for the school board to review.

Well, years ago my aunt used to say the Bible is one of the raciest books available. LOL.
There are quite of few passages that can raise an eyebrow or two. A young man talking about his love’s pomegranates...do you think the kids even know what he is talking about?

I’m actually a bit shocked that a public school library would even shelf a Bible.
But then, it is Utah.

I’m not sure it will get that far. In Utah, good luck getting it past the scrutiny of the Mormon Church. Attacking the Bible or the Book of Mormon is akin to blowing up the Temple Square. This will not be kindly looked upon.

Hey “anonymous” be brave and stand up at a school board meeting and read aloud the offending passage, share your thoughts for all to hear, don’t be a coward and hide behind this cloak of anonymous virtue signaling.
The Bible is the opposite of pornography in its intent and execution.

No doubt the parent of a faggot child trying to prove a point. It is ridiculous and without merit. There is plenty of porn in the schools, but the Bible ain’t it. One person complaint? Try that from the right. You’d have to bring a class action suit, and even then some leftist judge is likely to claim you don’t have “standing” and throw it out. None of that “one parent complained” bs. I complained about gay pride posters at work once and was threatened with re-education school. No, “one person complained” only works from the left. It’s time that stopped.

I’ve met mormons who have never cracked open a bible and have no idea what it says. Theirs is the Book of mormon, a fabrication by Joseph Smith. Most LDS even reject Smith’s Inspired Scriptures of the Bible, the bible with his own additions.
