I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Father on this, the National Day of Prayer, we put You in remembrance of what You have said concerning our prayers. We praise You. Prayer is Your idea and plan and we are honored by Your call, coming boldly to Your throne of grace each day to pray for our UNITED States of America. We have come in repentance, in discouragement, in hope and in faith. We have poured out our pain and then directed our gaze upon You and Your will to save America and pour out Your Spirit on us. We have prayed for those in authority and for Your body to be conformed to Your image and do the work while there is still light. We place ourselves unveiled and exposed before You, believing that You are completing the work You have begun in us and that Your will WILL be done here on earth as it is in Heaven. We yield ourselves to Your Holy Spirit: “So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.” Romans 8:26

Joining in prayer for our beloved America, especially during the National Day of Prayer:

Dear Lord, we beseech Thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice ! Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !
Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over Your children ! Send forth Your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !

And I just joined a new church that is Bible believing. Small but powerful congregation. I gave them a rug cleaning machine that they really needed and in return they gave me a Bible with giant-sized type, knowing I have vision problems. God is good.
That’s good. Better to be in an authentic church with three people in attendance worshipping God than a fake church with thousands worshipping degeneracy.
Could you all toss a prayer my way, please?
On top of my cancer dog, the house fire and fighting State Farm, my husband had a massive heart attack and died yesterday.
He left me nothing.
No pension, SS or health insurance and I’m falling apart.
Please.
I don’t know what to do or where to even start.
I’m losing everything and I can’t even figure how to post a prayer thread now.

Oh, no. I’m so sorry. You have our prayers on the loss of your husband, may he rest in peace.
I feel like it may be trite to say, given your spate of rotten things happening to you over the past year, but I do hope things turn around for you and you don’t lose faith or hope.
Again, my deepest sympathies and prayers to you. I’ll ping a few folks here, hopefully they can offer some prayers for solace in your time of need.
