God established the death penalty for certain crimes.
Of course it’s justifiable in many cases as God can do no wrong.

I have never questioned the morality of the death penalty.
In the United States today, however, the practical application of capital punishment is a non-starter.
Our politicized “criminal justice” system no longer has the moral authority to put people in jail, let alone execute them.
