Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
saying to them, “Go into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them and bring them to Me.
And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, 'The Lord has need of them,’and immediately he will send them.”
All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:
“Tell the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.’”
So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them.
They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, and set Him on them.
And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
”Hosanna to the Son of David !
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hosanna in the highest!”

Lord God,

We can only imagine what it was like that day, and what it would have been like if we could have been there to bless You and praise You as well, joining in with the multitudes heading to Jerusalem. And yet, we know that one day we will do the same thing along with the great crowd of witnesses in heaven---worshipping You and singing praises to the One Who came to pay the price for all those who believe. Surely we are undeserving of so great a Gift, but we thank You, Precious Lord----for Your ultimate sacrifice---for doing for us what we could not do for ourselves. Blessed are You, Lord God Almighty. Blessed is the Name of the Lord!

Father, we absolutely must keep our focus on You and You alone, for the events of this past week were meant to destroy our peace and our hope. To the Cross we must come to lay our burdens at the feet of Jesus, Who has promised to wipe away every tear. Lord, please also hear our cries for our fellow Christians in Nashville, for President Trump and his family, for the family of the captured journalist, for the people of Rolling Fork as well as all who have suffered loss due to the spring storms. Lord God, Almighty King, You are able to provide hope, comfort, compassion, restoration, provision, and the joy of overcoming. Please give Your very best to all those who are hurting. And Lord, You have restored nations in the past. We are asking that You, our God Who heals, would restore America. Please take our country’s sickness and bring this nation to its knees in prayer.

As we enter this Holy Week, please give us pause to think upon You, Lord. May we not mindlessly float through the week, but may we spend time meditating upon Your selfless act of love. We need You, Lord, and we pray that our lives would honor You in every way, even through these trying times. Thank You for helping us to endure. In the Name of Jesus, our Lord and King. Amen.

Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !

Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over Your children ! Send forth Your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !

For America In A Time Of National Crisis

Dear Father, there is much happening with our nation at the moment as we are facing a time of crises. The nation seems to be teetering on the edge of destruction and our government seems to have little ability or will to reverse what is coming upon our land and its citizens. Lord, there is increasing unrest and we ask that You guide our nation through this difficult period.

Lord, we pray for all in authority over our land and ask that You would lead and guide the decisions they are to make in this time of crises. We ask that those in leadership positions would be given the wisdom and ability to address all that is looming on the home-front at this present time. Give them grace to govern according to Your will, and may they not be motivated by self-interest, greed or party politics, but rather may they be led to guide our nation onto the path of peace and safety that only comes from You.

Protect all those that are in any way at risk or are suffering from lack or from fear of what is happening in this time of national crises. May we as a people unite together under Your banner of truth, to support and encourage each other, as we face this national crises together, as one nation under God.
