Eternal Paradise Or Hell? How And Why Both Choices Are Freely Made

A lack of so-called ‘scientific evidence’ in the existence of the personal God Who spoke is not the true reason why godless Westerners reject belief in Him. Their rejection is due to a desire to live free of the moral constraints God requires. (Psalm 14:1):

“a desire to live free of the moral constraints God requires.”

Very true. The individual usually chooses to be their own God. They become so full of themselves that they have no room for God.

Thus the reason for pain, suffering, and tribulation. These diminish the ego self, bring humility and make room for God. There are no atheists in foxholes.

Despair is the window through which we can see and experience God. If we have an inflated sense of self, we don’t fit through the window opening.

The second part of this is that people see themselves as the physical body, and not the perpetual soul that temporarily occupies the body. They have no idea that sin creates obstacles to Love in their soul that hinders its growth. These people feel that what is invisible to them does not exist. But it does. It is real, and physical, just not to the perception of those who hold onto the sin.

Sin destabilizes the soul like a wet blanket in the spin cycle of a washer. It wobbles and can’t reach the speed necessary to shed the heavy ballast. If we hold onto sin, we cannot reach the level of purification necessary to have Jesus and the Holy Spirit in us.

Marriage allows some of us to learn from our mistake of choosing hell and not make it an eternal mistake.

“‘scientific evidence’ in the existence of the personal God”

Much of this debate is semantics, based upon an individual’s definition of God. Is there a personal God? Absolutely.

God like a flat organizational chart and everyone is to have their own direct connection to the boss. Never through another human being.

I can easily provide the scientific evidence, but what good is it for people to understand it intellectually. Like riding a bike, you can have all the theory down pat and understand the engineering of the bike, but it is useless until you get on and ride. You will wobble at first, but if you stay focused upon your destination, i.e. God, you will quickly gain speed, find balance, and be off and enjoying the experience of the journey.

Blessings

“Marriage allows some of us to learn from our mistake of choosing hell and not make it an eternal mistake.”

My wife will often say, “If you want to know your faults, get married. It brings them all to the surface.” I guess that’s the fast track to finding God.

Really? Never? You never asked anyone to pray for you, I guess?

sorry, but this is utter and ridiculous nonsense...any entity that extracts desired behavior from me by the use of threats is not worthy of worship...

No truer words have been written.

I bet your kids are spoiled rotten, having never received any discipline from you, nor being warned about their behavior.

It’s theorized that when one enters a black hole they either end up in hell forever, or heaven depending on what they bring with them in the form of karma. See the movie Event Horizon and how each member of the crew have to face echos of their unresolved past. The ending to 1979 Black Hole is another metaphor for this. The villain and his captured crew end up in a Hades while the good guys get escorted through a palatial tunnel by an angel like entity. Yoda’s cave is another example - Luke: “What’s in there?” Yoda: “Only what you take with you.” People who’ve had a near death experience report seeing a light at the end of a tunnel - like a black hole or a worm hole? Prison or even marriage are smaller microcosms of a black hole eternity. The ugliness inside oneself will be amplified through endless irritation. My point is you can choose, and right now with the increasing threat of tyrannical apocalypse on our own doorstep it’s important to choose now: end time madness or heavenly bliss. What do you ultimately want for yourself? Are you ready to forgive and be forgiven, to confront and resolve historical injuries, to let cycles end? I choose God. I choose good. And I actively nurture my own heavenly sphere in spite of all the bad news and wrong choices being made outside my control.

How did this post make us think of marriage?

any entity that extracts desired behavior

You have misstated the premise. God isn't after your behavior, He seeks your belief, your trust. He does so on the basis of the love for you He proved by sending His only Son to die in your place.

“You never asked anyone to pray for you, I guess?”

Their prayers are directly to God, like mine. The sure don’t pray to me! For me yes, to me never.

The only problem with this statement is that the Left is hedonistic only when it comes to sex. On all other issues they don't think G-d has enough rules, so they endlessly invent new "sins" about "social justice," race, gender, the earth, etc.

The Left isn't so much about doing away with all restraints as with inverting the traditional moral view.

Explaining and demonstrating the human soul, it’s contents, and anatomy & physiology..

Religions are teaching about this.

Then demonstrating why Jesus taught what He did and that the Bible is accurate.

Then explaining the neuroscience and changes in consciousness that are why Jesus said in John 14 that You too shall do the things that He does and even more in His name.

Hell is merely the experience a soul has when it holds onto sin and tries to exist in God’s Love and Light. This is why a prayerful blessing toward an evil person is like placing hot coals upon their head.

It’s like placing a dense object in the high frequency of a microwave and it heats up and catches on fire.

This is how I do spirit releasement and exorcisms. I just pray to God and the dark spirits are afraid the Light of the Holy Spirit will kill them. They scream and moan, and obey out of fear.

The Holy Spirit is a purifying fire toward sin.

Maybe you’ve never heard the expression “I pray you..” or “prithee”? Since the 13th century, one of the definitions of to “pray” was simply “ask, entreat”.

So what’s wrong with asking each other for things?
